I'm gonna keep this relatively short cause I think everyone knows how great of a film this is, but wow is it great. The fantastic animation, engaging action, well developed characters and really fresh and original story help to make this one of the best animated films in recent years. Given the amount of Spider-Man films we've had since Sam Raimi's 2002 original, it's great that this takes the character in a new direction whilst still keeping to the essence of the character. A lot of the humour is really good (although I don't really like Spider-Pig that much) and the villains are really well-developed. The pacing is pitch-perfect and all of the voice actors do a really good job with their characters. Now do I think this should be the 16th highest rated film on Letterboxd? Definitely not, but it is still an excellent, excellent film that I would definitely recommend.
