Greige is a native of the Crystal Car. He is unable to speak, but he can make grunts and motion his arms to portray what he is trying to say.

"The Crystal Car"[]
Tulip Olsen, One-One, and Atticus first meet Greige while trying to figure out how to access the exit door, which is located on a cliff face high above. Greige explains through mime that the Steward took the staircase away, but they can get a new one if they sing something from the heart to a nearby crystal. Atticus and One-One's efforts don't work due to the non-vocal nature of their songs, while Tulip's efforts to sing "emotional" songs fail to get a reaction from the crystal. Greige discourages Tulip's efforts to build a ladder instead, but she ignores him only to find the door is locked when she climbs the ladder. He clarifies that she needs to sing something that matters to her rather than songs that are simply emotional – ultimately, she succeeds by singing "Word Up" by Cameo.

Greige is seen playing a rhythm game at the fair. Despite his lack of joints in his limbs, Greige is apparently very good at it.
Trivia[]
- Greige's name is a portmanteau of "gray" and "beige," and refers to his dull coloration. Cole Sanchez helped come up with the name.[1]
- Greige's name is never spoken, and instead comes from the episode's credits.
- This makes sense, as, given his method of communication, it seems difficult for him to properly introduce himself.
- Greige's backstory was originally that his family was hibernating in a nearby cave, only for Tulip to mistake him for a murderer.[1]
