The Informant is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories[]
The informant is a member of the FBI and was scheduled to meet John-O before Toni Cipriani breaks up the meeting and steals a document. The informant hops in the vehicle, and realizes that the driver is not John-O. Toni says he couldn't make it, but later, John-O arrives. The informant, distrustful of Toni, leaves but Toni chases him, killing him and stealing the documents (The player can kill John-O as well). The document details drug use in top sports stars, which Ned Burner (who had acted as a priest), later publishes in Liberty Tree.
