Aphid Slippers are a single-piece armor that goes on the player's feet. They give increased movement speed and low defense, meaning they are useful for traversing environments quickly, but not useful in combat. They are also useful for platforming, as the increase in speed also increases the player's jump range.
They are most effective when used in combination with stamina increasing armor, like Spider Armor and the Mite Hat and speed or stamina increasing Mutations, like Natural Explorer, Buff Lungs, and Cardio Fan.
Its sleek effect causes Aphids to not run away from the player, making them easy to kill, tame, or steal from to obtain the Speed Droplet.
