We do this a lot.
This page is quite funny, as are many of the pages of this filler story, but the humor suffers significantly from being converted from its original form, a three part "radio drama" that took perhaps 30 minutes altogether to listen to, to a 26 page (if it updates on every remaining scheduled day of the Foglio's vacation) story in comic form, spread out over a period of two months. The beta announcement for Girl Genius and the Rats of Mechanicsburg says it contains "A whopping 30,012 lines of code". That doesn't sound like a whopping number to me--30 thousand was the estimate I recently came up with for the side project I've been working on. Is that really considered a large game program?
