Since I'm writing to you, perhaps I should dispense with the pleasantries and cut to the chase: I'd like to invite you to my birthday party. Although Ayato and Ayaka both suggested going out to eat, saying I should take it easy today, but I believe having fun is more important than anything. You can understand that, right? Chatting with friends in a warm home, enjoying the smile on your face when you savor the food... I know my birthday wishes sound pretty plain, don't laugh at me, alright! This time, I'm going to make a Mondstadt dish. Hmm, I haven't made it in a while, I wonder if I'll be able to do it. Long time no see, you're more than welcome to join in my birthday celebrations! Though we'll have plenty of time to talk after you come, I still can't wait to tell you about this really fun thing that happened. Not long ago, a shop in Ritou imported a bunch of goods from Mondstadt, and you could tell at a glance just how fresh they were! I seized the chance to buy a bunch and immediately started pickling some. I had originally planned to use the clear and sweet flavor of the Calla Lilies to give it a unique twist, and give my lord and milady a chance to try something new. But the final product was a completely wondrous surprise. Even the texture was totally transformed. At once crispy and tasty, but also oh-so-savory as you chew. Madam Furuta even asked me for the recipe! Being able to share this amazing discovery with everyone is all I could ask for. As a matter of fact, I've made a whole smorgasbord of delicious dishes, be sure not to miss it! | |

I should probably be busy preparing the food and decorations for the birthday gathering right now... but I just learned that some of my new friends are having a hard time, and if I don't lend a hand now, they might have to endure the cold winds and sleep on the streets tonight. Haha, I won't keep you in suspense. So, when I was out feeding the kittens and puppies this morning, a little cat I hadn't seen before came up to me. I followed it and soon discovered several other poor little creatures hiding in the grass. Luckily, I've made a batch of cat and dog beds before winter, and there's still quite a bit of material left. I should be able to make a few more before nightfall. Of course, if you, my handy and skilled old friend, could assist me, we could get things done much faster and deliver the new beds and their meals together. They'll be overjoyed for sure! | It's customary to give the house a thorough cleaning at the beginning of each year to usher in the fresh start ahead. So, I woke up early this morning and made sure to clean every corner of Komore Teahouse. It looks as good as new now, doesn't it? And while cleaning, I happened to find the toy that Taroumaru had been searching for ages. When I cleaned it and handed it back to him, haha, you should've seen the joy on his face.
