SO! You just started the game, but you dont really have any idea how to play it and what to do? Here are few of my tips, most are based off my OWN experience. REMINDER : Your preferences - your choices.
EARLY-EARLY GAME (1-5 lvl)[]
You just entered the game, have a nice day FISCHing around. So, dont be stupid like me, actually just look at the stuff you have in your inventory, simply explore!
LOOK AT YOUR EQUIPMENT BAG, EQUIP THE BAIT and its time to fish!
Since you're new, its okay to lose your fish! HOLD SPACE BAR/LEFT MOUSE BUTTON for the BAR to go RIGHT and stop to make the bar go LEFT, follow the fish's indicator, like where's the fish line? You can also spam the buttons to kind of fixate the bar anywhere you want
It may take you few tries, so just keep going!
OKay, but you might be lazy, enter the codes, they'll give you enough money to take some steps in FISCH-e-progress. You can find codes here : Codes
Buy bait for 120 coins, bait is a pretty big part of the game, you can find it near one of the fisher npcs around.
Sell fish at the merchant, its usually marked.
EARLY GAME[]
Alright, you made your first steps, good job! If you entered codes, you probably already have enough money to make a progress, you can buy Carbon Rod.
You know, its all the same, but since you got some money, you may start thinking of purchasing a boat, great decision! Unless you have a friend that drives you around
Theres a lot of things you should know, so explore the map, be the curious kitten
nothing changes here, sleep, fish, eat, repeat!
MIDDLE GAME[]
- FISHING IN CERTAIN SPOTS(Some locations have certain lucky spots to use!)
- SERVER HOPPING (Aurora borealis, luck boost, aim for that!)
ALRIGHT! You're a middle game-r...? Gamer??... Anyways, just a middle fischer. You should go to Roslit Bay and buy a Steady Rod, it is the best rod for your middle game. Middle game process is actually one of the longest, but dont mind it, it takes a while to get the actual good rod. ANd its OK!
Start buying faster boats, you're likely to get treasure maps by that time, so get GPS and head to Forsaken Shores, talk to Jack Marrow and fix yo map! Just a small things you should never skip.
Grind, grind, grind!
You also can purchase a magnet rod for bait in terrapin island and fish in sunstone.
Oh, by the way, if you got your first Enchant Relic, dont be shy to use it! Use it at night, go to Statue of Sovereignty and enter the cave, then the mines/keeper's altar. Enchant your Steady Rod.
BEST ENCHANTS (IMO) :
- Storming/Breezing - Luck
- Hasty - nearly pushes the bad stat over the 0 border
- Abyssal
MIDDLE-LATE GAME[]
Alrihgt, you made enough money to buy your first 90K+ rod! You're starting to form your own preferences, dont be shy, look forward to anything you'd like and prefer.
