The Grand Reef Guardian is a 'Mythical' fish, obtainable at the Grand Reef. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When catching, a -75% progress speed decrease is inflicted on the player.
When hooked, a 
will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played, similar to all 'Mythical' fish.

- The Grand Reef Guardian is one of the, if not, the best 'Mythical' fish to farm as of now due to its high chance of catching it alongside its high amount of money and XP rewarded.
- The highest amount of XP you can earn from catching the Grand Reef Guardian is 23625 by using a Clever enchant rod, obtaining Double XP gamepass and having a perfect catch.
