All Hail King Julien is an American computer-animated television series. It stars characters from the DreamWorks Animation animated film Madagascar. It stars King Julien from the Madagascar franchise, which takes place in Madagascar, before the events of the first film. The series debuted on December 19, 2014 on Netflix when the first five 22-minute episodes were released.

Synopsis

King Julien is here to party in a totally original, totally hilarious and totally insane television series. A new cast of fantastic, colorful characters joins the King and his second-in-command Maurice -- not to mention the eternally devoted Mort -- in the craziest adventures the jungle has to offer.

Spin-Off

All Hail King Julien: Exiled is a new TV series from the Madagascar franchise that premiered on May 12, 2017. The series is a continuation to All Hail King Julien which ended at Season 4 with a cliffhanger. It is commonly referred to as Season 5 of All Hail King Julien.

Plot

After losing his kingdom to the evil hands of King Koto, King Julien, Maurice and Pancho ran away heading for an unknown destination to try and look for help so that they can defeat Koto. All sorts of obstacles came through as they bumped into the sirens, a giant tentacle, and even have to face two cocky dolphins in the middle of the way. Meanwhile, Clover and Sage went to Sage's guru, the Jarsh Jarsh to get the ultimate weapon. And Mort tried to lead all the prisoners to freedom to take back the island.
