Disney Marie - Walk in Paris (パリのお散歩 ~ ディズニー マリー) is a Japanese animated music video starring Marie from The Aristocats. The video was posted on Disney's Japanese Youtube Channel in 2014. The music video combines 2D imagery for the background and human characters while Marie is completely 3DCG/CGI.
The song was originally recorded by French singer Clementine Mitz for her 2014 compilation Clementine Sings Disney and was also recorded in a version in French as well as Japanese.
Synopsis[]
In the music video, Marie is seen admiring herself at a mirror while in the middle of an afternoon stroll around Paris, France. She can also be seen checking out various dresses that women are wearing for the afternoon. Marie then starts fantasizing about being at a fashion show in Paris. While she is daydreaming, she accidently bumps into a waiter's foot and drops silverware. While this is going on, Marie imagines herself running up to a podium and avoiding the other female contestants and gets a standing ovation. Marie's fantasy sequence suddenly ends when she finally notices the mess she made in the process. She then starts feeling guilty for the mess until an unseen person gives Marie four macarons with frosting, cranberries, and blueberries which cheers her up. The plate also has her name written in red frosting. The music video ends with Marie eating some of the food and getting icing on her nose in the process.
