Here’s the NEW most appropriate use of a Chank Font I’ve ever seen. The runner-up was a gay arts festival that used Sodom for all their posters and t-shirts. Now there’s a liquor store using… get this… LIQUORSTORE! Ha! That’s great. This one’s in downtown Minneapolis in the North Loop neighborhood, in a crusty old storefront that’s needed redevelopment for a looooong time. It’s done now and it looks great; there’s a crisp, clean new wine shop there on Washington Ave and they’ve chosen a most apt typestyle for their new window signage. Hooray! I just hope it’s not owned by Mr. Walton.

Here’s another cell-phone pic from Vegas. So glad to see my fonts in action while I was waiting in line at Starbucks for 20 minutes. Here’s Parkway Hotel in use on Sbux Italian Roast coffee signage.

Okay, so here’s a new theme for you… cell phone shots of Chank Fonts in action. Today’s pic comes from a recent trip to Vegas, where I spotted a tweaked use of Buckethead on the “Twice Your Monkey” slots. Monkeys & slots… what’s not to like about that?
