Stacy Trotter (Republican Party) is a judge for Place 3 of the Texas Eleventh District Court of Appeals. He assumed office on January 1, 2021. His current term ends on December 31, 2028.

Trotter (Republican Party) won re-election for the Place 3 judge of the Texas Eleventh District Court of Appeals outright after the general election on November 8, 2022, was canceled.

Biography

Education

Trotter earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University and was admitted to the bar in 1984.[1]

Career

Trotter began his career as an attorney in private practice in Odessa, Texas, in 1994. He later became the judge of the 244th District Court; after he was re-elected in 2010, he vacated the position in January 2011 to return to practicing law. He became a judge again after the retirement of Judge Bill McCoy.[2][3]
