Laurie Cardoza Moore is the trusted conservative candidate running to serve 63rd District voters and the State of Tennessee. She is not controlled by special interest groups or big money donors. Educational reform, election integrity, second amendment rights, Pro Life, and Tennessee State Sovereignty are key issues on which she is campaigning. She is a strong constitutionalist and advocates for its preservation, as well as believing that Tennessee must maintain our right to independence from overreaching Federal Government controls. With extensive experience in business, she was a home schooling mother of five now grown children, and along with her husband, Stan, a resident of Williamson County for over 35 years.

  • Educational reform is key to the future of both our state and our nation. The next generation of leadership rests on the shoulders of our children.
  • Tennessee must secure the integrity and honestly of our voting system. Without securing fair and honest elections, there is no democracy and our republic will fail
  • Tennessee must stand strong on the Second Amendment! The people of Tennessee must be secure as a free state with the right to keep and bear arms.

My commitment is to work hard, show integrity in all things, and serve the best interests of the 63rd District voters as well as all Tennesseans.

Margaret Thatcher - "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."

And here we are as a nation. I admired her leadership and her tenacity. She never took no for an answer. If there was one person, one woman, that I would choose to emulate, it would be Maggie herself.

This is another article I enjoy: https://www.vogue.com/article/remembering-margaret-thatcher-1925-2013.

I am a committed Constitutional Conservative. To me, that means that I will uphold the constitution of the United States of America and the Constitution of the State of Tennessee. At a time when we are losing our liberties, being forced by mandates from unelected federal bureaucrats, it is critically important that State Legislators understand their duty to push back against the encroachment of the Federal government.

I am accomplished. I fear God. I am a mother of five beautiful and very unique children. I run an international non-profit organization. I have been involved in assisting legislators with policy decisions for over 30 years. I am a proven advocate for children. I will fight for what is just and right.

I think the legacy I would like to leave is having taken part in restoring a classical, traditional approach to education and protecting the most vulnerable, our unborn.

The first historical event I remember as a little girl was when my uncle was dressed in his dress uniform for the USMC as he was heading out for deployment to Vietnam. At that time in American history, there was a lot of opposition to the war and also verbal attacks against our soldiers. It was at that time that I realized how volatile the Vietnam war was becoming. I knew my uncle was going over to help the south the Vietnamese people to obtain their freedom from the communist north. And I was proud he was going to battle to help these people be free. My last image I remember is when Saigon fell and the image of our helicopter with Vietnamese trying to hang on as it was taken off. That image has always stuck in my mind.

My favorite book, is honestly, The Bible. Specifically, the Tanach - I received a honorary degree in Hebrew Roots of the Christian Faith studies from Latin University in Los Angeles, CA. It is my favorite book because it gives me a clearer understanding of the Hebrew bible. the Hebrew bible played a significant role in the founding of our country in the drafting of our founding documents and the establishment of our government.

Not fictional, but I love the story of Deborah or Devorah. She led the military generals of Israel into battle against Israels enemies. Her story is found in the book of Judges.

The Governor's responsibility is to govern the affairs of the state to create the environment for success. The state Legislators are responsible to reflect the values and address the issues of their constituents. In my capacity as a state Legislator, I will represent the issues and concerns of my constituents in District 63.

In my view, the greatest challenges for Tennessee are

  • Education Reform.
  • Securing our sovereignty as a state.
  • Strengthening and protecting our 2nd Amendment Rights.
  • Ensuring voter integrity at the ballot box.
  • Securing our borders and holding the federal government accountable for their failed immigration policies.
  • Helping to grow small business coming out of Covid.

Absolutely. As a citizen , I have worked for over thirty years to protect the unborn, to reform education, and to strengthen our Judeo-Christian values. It is these values that make Tennessee one of the most sought after states for people to raise their families and enjoy their liberties.

God has spoken:

"Moreover, you shall discern from among the entire people, men of accomplishment, God-fearing people, men of truth, people who despise money." - Exodus 18:21

I feel I am best qualified to serve on the education administration, education instruction, ethics, local government, and government ops committees.

Yes. Absolutely. One of my future constituents told me the reason why she was supporting me in this campaign is that she wanted to make sure someone in the legislature was going to look after her children and their mental health. That comment, in light of the last two traumatic years of Covid in this state, reminded me just how important the work of a state representative is.

Parents are very concerned about their children's future and are counting on their elected officials to provide an environment that our children will succeed in.

I am committed as a legislator to be those children's best advocate.
