I am a first-generation American. 23 years ago, I left China and came to America to pursue freedom and opportunities. I started my graduate study at the University of Minnesota, and then fell in love with this country and Minnesota. Years later, when I was proudly swearing in as a US citizen, I put my whole heart in every line of the Oath of Allegiance.

I believe our many freedoms, constitutional rights and democratic system provide a sound structure, full of opportunities, for our community, state and country to solve any challenges we face. I believe that problem solving involves everyone and takes honest, respectful, and fact-based dialogue. By engaging and empowering all our diverse constituents, we can improve our state's economy, educational opportunities, public safety, and environment.

I want Minnesota to be the best place for people to have families, do business and find unlimited opportunities for their kids. With over 20 years of combined business and educational experience, as a caring listener, a creative problem solver, an effective cross-cultural communicator, and a visionary leader, I will ensure every voice is heard and will work hard to find common ground for all of us.
  • Leadership involves building a shared vision, fact-finding and problem solving. I believe every one of us is part of the solution we seek for every issue we face. Problem solving involves everyone and takes honest and respectful dialogue.
  • I believe in the great talents and strong will in our community to solve the problems we are facing. My commitment is to stay connected with you and listen to you, not fight political battles that get us nowhere. So much more unites us than divides us, let's work together to build a better future!
  • Taking an approach of listening, reasoning, engaging and collaborating, I am committed to staying connected with the people and staying engaged with our community.
• Revive and Strengthen our Democracy

Defend freedom of speech and promote respect for different opinions to create friendly, open and constructive dialogues on a variety of issues in our society.
• Grow Our Economy for Long Term Prosperity and Competitiveness
Give Minnesota business owners lower taxes, fewer regulations, and more resources to encourage them to build, grow, and stay in Minnesota, especially technology and manufacturing companies.
• Tax Our Residents Less
Reduce Minnesotans' tax burdens and let them have more financial resources in their hands to pursue choices and opportunities in life.
• Hold Our Government Accountable
Spend Minnesotans' tax dollars responsibly; achieve higher transparency, efficiency and accountability in government offices with more independent audits and use of efficient data technology.
• Make Our Communities Safer
Support our law enforcement and collaborate with communities to find more effective solutions to handle crimes, gun violence, drug addiction and mental health problems.
• Empower Our Educators to Teach and Motivate
Provide support to our teachers and empower them to motivate younger Minnesotans to pursue a variety of learning and career opportunities.
• Make Our Healthcare Available and Affordable
• Keep Our Environment Clean

• Care for Our Seniors and Veterans
