I believe writing is the spice of life. It adds additional flavoring to dull entrees. For several years, I have been teaching writing classes on the Allpoetry website. I have been writing poems and short stories for approximately 45 years. Most of my work has appeared in literary journals, small presses, weekly local newspapers, and currently on poetry websites. During the 1990s, I was an editor and co-publisher of a quarterly literary journal called, 'Moose Bound Press' based in Anchorage, Alaska. Subscribers were state wide as well as international. It was an exciting time since the Internet was starting and it helped bridge writers together from all over the world.
