Player of the year: Ty Jones, West Morgan, Sr.: Jones amassed 106 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, four sacks and three interceptions on defense, and 17 touchdowns on offense.
Player of the Year: Lydia Carter, Lindsay Lane, Sr.: Carter had a dominant season as she finished the year with 748 kills and 604 digs as well as 90 aces.
HARTSELLEÂ â Gray Bennich and Ty Odom combined to score 34 points and the Hartselle boys basketball team rolled past rival Decatur 67-51 on Friday.
PRICEVILLEÂ â Leah Childress finished with 29 points to lead the Priceville girls basketball team to a 75-41 win over Ardmore on Friday.
Jenny Mitchell led three Decatur players in double figures with 15 points as the Red Raiders picked up a 57-53 win over rival Austin in girls high school basketball on Friday.
DANVILLEÂ â Adily Alberti turned in a triple-double performance, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals, as Danville defeated Hatton 44-27 in girls high school basketball on Tuesday.
DANVILLEÂ â Addison Prater had 12 points and eight rebounds as Danville picked up a 53-19 win over Covenant Christian in girls high school basketball on Friday.
