FALKVILLE — Landon Powers and Denver Comstock combined for nearly 200 rushing yards and four touchdowns as Falkville rolled past Susan Moore 44-8 in a Class 2A, Region 6 game on Friday.

Lyndi Perkins, Austin softball: Perkins tripled and drove in four runs in a 14-2 win over James Clemens on Thursday. She also had four hits, three RBIs and two runs scored against Ezell-Harding Christian (Tenn.) on Tuesday.
Luke Murrell, Athens Bible School baseball: Murrell, a freshman, was perfect on Monday in a 13-0 win over Shoals Christian, striking out each of the 15 batters he faced in a five-inning victory for the Trojans. He also had two hits and two RBIs.
Katie Gillott, Hartselle softball: Gillott went 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs in an 11-5 win over Austin on Tuesday.
Oliver Howard, Decatur wrestling: Howard captured the Class 6A, 190-pound state wrestling championship Saturday, capping a perfect 40-0 season with a 4-2 decision win over Mountain Brook's Sam Carroll in the championship match.
