ARDMORE — Leah Childress had 19 points, five steals and four assists as Priceville defeated Ardmore 79-46 in girls high school basketball on Thursday.
LESTER — Haniyah Standridge turned in a monster triple-double performance for West Morgan on Tuesday, finishing with 27 points, 11 steals and 10 rebounds in a 68-58 win over West Limestone in girls high school basketball.
Player of the year: Ty Jones, West Morgan, Sr.: Jones amassed 106 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, four sacks and three interceptions on defense, and 17 touchdowns on offense.
Player of the Year: Lydia Carter, Lindsay Lane, Sr.: Carter had a dominant season as she finished the year with 748 kills and 604 digs as well as 90 aces.
