Synopsis for "Annihilators: Earthfall"
A battle is occurring in the Gulf of Sidris, eight parsecs from Andromeda between rival factions of the Universal Church of Truth when the Annihilators appear aboard the command templeship of Matriarch Aqwen to intervene in the conflict because it's burning up worlds to power their weapons. The Matriarch orders her attendants to destroy them but they are quickly put down with Quasar shackling Aqwen. He tells Cosmo that he thinks she started a destruct protocol and Cosmo quickly has Ronan on the problem. Soon the two fleets are disarmed and the team prepares to send them on their way when Cosmo senses the plans Aqwen has and that every world will burn. He immediately dispatches the team to deal with this new universal threat with information to be uploaded in transit.
Aboard the S.W.O.R.D. Listening Station in high orbit above Earth, an alarm sounds and the two monitoring agents issue a Classified One Alert as they have registered multiple exotics going by them superluminal to the planet's surface. At the Life Science Institute in Colorado, a board meeting is occurring when the Annihilators land in the compound and are immediately met with hostility from zealots defending the church. Ikon crashes the board meeting and the board is revealed to actually be Black Knights of the U.C.T. Quasar expresses his dislike at the devastation they are bringing to his world to which Ikon recalls he had no compunction to the havoc caused on her world when the mission required it. Quasar says he was expressing his 'unhappiness' at the situation, and that they did NOT see him hesitating. The Black Knights then reactivate their human disguises as the team wonders why when they are suddenly confronted by the newly arrived Avengers.
