instances of what someone or something is doing.
the They are also called verbs. Here are some
new lesson examples of action words in the
sentences.
(Presents sentences with verbs.)
The first sentence says : Yuri runs fast.
The action word in the sentence is runs.
Why is run the action word? It is the
action word because it tells what Yuri is
doing.
(Note; Do the same for the rest of the
sentences. Be sure to always ask why and
give explanations)
Sleep
How about you? Can you give your own
examples of action words? (Call children) I like to sleep every afternoon.
That’s good. Danila, can you make a
sentence out of the verb, sleep?
Very good. What is the action word in the The action word in the

times if he wants to answer. The first to
clap will the first called to answer.
Whoever group has the wrong answer, the
other can steal. The group which has the
most number of correct answers, wins.
E. Discussing I know you enjoyed the game, so here is

Annotations:

Science subject is integrated when the teacher made mentioned about the names of
baby animals during review.

An integration of Mathematics subject was also evident as the teacher let children add
and subtract the money received by Gary and the amount he spent.

Indicator 2 about chronic illness was also tackled by the teacher as she mentioned about
arthritis and other chronic ailments. Further, (still in indicator 2) child labor was also discussed
as she made mentioned about Gary’s age who is working at a young age.
