teachers, including all members of the school community, work together to prepare schools for
the opening of classes.

F. Bustamante National High School participated in the said event thus mobilizes
parents, alumni, civic groups, local businesses, non-government organizations, teachers,
students, and individuals who volunteer their time and skills to do repairs, maintenance work,

making schools the best place for learners to acquire values and competencies needed to
contribute to nation-building.  Clean classrooms, well-maintained learning tools, and attractive
landscaping inspire students to attend school, study hard and persevere to achieve their goals.

Brigada Eskwela does not only focus on asking donations to our parents, alumni, civic
groups, local businesses, non-government organizations but we also giving out school materials
to our dear students. We, in EsP and T.L.E. Departments participated the said event through
our advocacy “Kahon ng Pagmamahal” which focus on giving school supplies in our less
fortunate students. During the first day of school we welcomed our students by giving them
schools supplies. We also awarded our early birds students with school supplies for them to be
inspired to go to school early. These activities were collaborated with We Advocate Time
Consciousness and Honesty (WATCH).

Indeed, Brigada Eskwela allows us to understand that, if we are willing, we can become
a part of the change we want to see. And this realization has made a profound impact to our

BAKUNATION STRAND” ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

Date Covered: August 1-26, 2022

Venue: F. Bustamante NHS

By:
The Senior High School (SHS) Department

Rationale:

The BRIGADA ESKWELA 2022 which ran from August 1-26, 2022 with the theme:
Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-Aral, highlighted the country’s collective efforts from
various partnership engagements thereby creating a safe learning environment for the learners,
the teaching and non-teaching personnel, and community to achieve safety and preventive
efforts of ensuring that everybody engages in the school learning environment is primarily
vaccinated and with a booster shot and that all are educated in the practice of mandatory health
protocols for the delivery of quality education. That is why we can manifest the BE-LCP of
DepEd.

As one of the BRIGADA ESKWELA 2022 initiative strands and best practices in a time
of the COVID-19 pandemic spearheaded during the joint and collaborative meeting in which the
SHS Department was tasked to perform accomplishment reporting specifically to ensure the
vaccination data report of primary doses and a booster shot as possible among teaching and
non-teaching personnel as well as the students and parents all for their welfare of everyone
inside the campus.

Targeted data and quality assurance of data for collation were set to determine what
each departmental report shall be generated. Following the guidelines stated, there were (9)
nine Departmental Subjects, and/or (6) six Grades 7-12 Levels that were required to submit
vaccination data for teachers and students as well as non-teaching personnel for the realization
of the Bakunation Strand data accomplishment report.

To ensure the data quality outcome, a Monitoring and Assessing Progress of

Implementation was conducted by the SHS Department during the duration of the Brigada
Eskwela. The grade level curriculum heads of Grade 11 and Grade 12 with the Department
Head (SHS Focal Person) team utilize soft copy data submission to encourage partnership and
assist the School Heads in the process of substantiating the proposed activities of the SHS
Department data gathering regarding primary doses and booster shot among targeted
personnel Thus, this accomplishment is hereby reported.
Objectives:

The Monitoring and Assessing Progress of Implementation sought to generate the

following outputs and outcomes. Specifically, this is to generate information that will be a sound
basis for the next steps of action.
1. Was the proposed vaccination initiative projects implemented by the School at the gym
and the SHS Department data gathering team able to attain 100% volunteerism from
target personnel and reporting from each subject department?
2. What was the common feedback from the students, teachers, and significant others?
3. Was there any problems, issues, and concerns encountered by the vaccination team
services?
4. How the School Heads did manage the implementation plan and what were the courses
of action taken?
Methodology:
In the course of the conduct of the Monitoring and Assessing Progress of
Implementation, the following were considered:
1. Implementation plan of activities and the schedule of Departmental Subject or Grade
Level visits and data reporting problems were identified;
2. The SHS Department Bakunation team members were consulted and the Department
Heads or Grade Level Curriculum heads were consulted on the possible and expected
outputs and outcomes;
3. A template and or google link was crafted by the Bakunation team and presented to the
Department Heads or Grade Level Curriculum heads, School Head as well to the level of
expectations;
4. School Proposals were the bases for assessing the progress of implementation.
5. Observations and results were summarized and conformed to the Department Heads or
Grade Level Curriculum heads.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
(BRIGADA ESKWELA STRAND 5 - ABANTE SA PAGLAMBO)
S.Y. 2022 - 2023

Pursuant to DepEd Memo 62 s. 2022 (Brigada Eskwela 2022 Implementing

Guidelines), the Department of Education (DepEd) implements the Brigada Eskwela
for the opening of classes for School Year 2022 – 2023 on August 22, 2022.

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide voluntary effort of teachers, students, parents,

community members, and stakeholders in preparing and making the school safe and
conducive for learning before the start of face-to-face classes.

Despite the adversities and challenges brought about by the Covid-19

pandemic, Francisco Bustamante National High School Mathematics teachers were
very responsive and cooperative in extending their helping hands to realize the
objectives set for the activity to ensure that the education must continue.

Mathematics Teachers were grateful to report you of their remarkable

achievements in this 2022 Brigada Eskwela.

Throughout the Brigada Eskwela execution, as teacher-volunteers, we have

guaranteed to enhance the physical appearance of the Math Faculty Room and Math
Center. The box garden had been weeded, gardened, replanted, and painted. We spent
much enthusiasm and energy to remove cobwebs and rust from the door and window
grills, then repainted. Artistic hands were collaboratively exerted to repaint wall and
ceiling. Facilities and furnitures belong to Math Faculty Club and Math Center had
been organized, coloured up, repaired, and sanitized. Pathways and pavements, stairs,
alleys and corridors, water sources and drainage system, gutters and boundaries were
favorably dusted up, disinfected, smoothened, checked and tediously refined.

Brigada Eskwela is not only focused in preparing the school facilities and
receiving donations from parents, alumni, civic groups, and other stakeholders, also in
advocating good skill and knowledge grasp among students. We, in the Mathematics
Department with the help and support of BUSTA-SCI Scholarship Program (BSSP) and
the Senior High School TechVoc Teachers had participated the said event through our
“Abante sa Paglambo” advocacy which focused on academic aid and support. The
BUSTA-SCI Scholarship Program (BSSP) initiated an activity by giving relief goods and
packs to the scholars who were affected from the fire incident in Bgy. Tibungco and
Ilang last July 2021. Similarly, school supplies were distributed and received by the
BSSP scholars last November 24, 2021 to support their needs in studies. A
remarkable triumph was achieved by the students of Sir Hanz Dela Cruz when they
passed the National Certificate Level II assessment in Computer System Servicing,
which they got a 100% passing rate. The assessment was held at PCT-Assessment
Center at Bajada, Davao City last June 10, 2022.

The Brigada Eskwela ‘22 with the theme, “Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik-
aral” was fully exhibited and conveyed. The entire Francisco Bustamante National
High School is proud to announce that the school is prepared and confidently ready
for the opening of the School Year 2022 – 2023.
