Rationale: The celebration of Filipino Values Month in November, pursuant to Proclamation No.
479 issued on October 7, 1994 is an effective measure to create moral awakening
and national consciousness on unique, positive, and genuine values held important
by the Filipino people in their lives. Anchored on the four pillars- makaDiyos,
makabayan, makatao, at makakakalikasan, these values mirror the country’s rich
tradition and cultural heritage.
Objectives:
a). To build up commonly held values such as bayanihan (volunteerism), utang na loob (debt of
gratitude), sariling sikap (self-reliance), and pakikisama (comradeship) and most especially the
core values (makaDiyos, makatao, makakalikasan, at makabansa)
b). To inculcate in the minds of the students that schools and institutions reinforce the promotion of
values education by providing opportunities for the youth to impart to others the values they
learn at home and in their assimilation with peer and superiors.
c). To become actively involved in activities that will foster a sense of commitment and solidarity
towards becoming a productive, responsible and law-abiding Filipinos with respect to man’s
dignity and honor.
Proposed Activities:
DAY 1
The first part of the program consists of a symposium wherein there will be invited guests from the
Kilusang Kabataan together with one faculty member from SCINHS. The symposium is incorporated
to the theme wherein the speakers will be given 3 ½ hour to talk mainly about the advantages and
disadvantages of using gadgets and how it affects the family relationship. Moreover, after the
symposium there will be 5 stations that feature different games during fiestas. Participants will
proceed to each station and enjoy the games prepared and facilitated by the ESP Officers so they
can collect chits. The group who has collected countless chits will be the winner.
The ESP Camp targets 200 participants (50 per grade level). The registration fee will be 50php

3:30-6:00 He is the founding chairman of Kilusang Kabataan Mr. Johma Villahermosa
wherein he will discuss the “SIGNS AND SYMBOLS”
which is relevant and timely in the midst of today’s
millenials.
6:00-7:00 She is a faculty member from SCINHS wherein she will Mrs. Eva Arasa
share her experiences on how technology affects family
relationships (in good and bad terms)
7:00-7:30 DINNER
7:30-8:30 BARRIO FIESTA (by Stations)
STATION 1 Ronel Paul Villaraza and
“Ugali mo, Score Mo” Mrs. Rose Anne Corvite
This game will make use of a pellet gun and statuettes.
Attached on the statuettes are either gadgets or family
members. It depends on the players who will they target or
eliminate first. There is a corresponding point in every
statuette. Players will be given 5 minutes to point out their
target.
STATION 2 Lorenz Bonaobra and
“Shoot mo, Tanong mo” Mr. Aldin Urian
This game will make use of disposable cups and a small
ball. The player will bounce the ball hitting a specific cup.
Inside the cups are questions on how technology affects
family relationships. The score will depend on the answer
of the player. They will be given 10 seconds to answer a
question.
PART B:
The second part of the program was inspired by the Breakout Philippines- Escape Room Game. It is
an interactive game where participants will have to team up to find clues and solve logic puzzles
based on various storylines and themed rooms. The goal is to escape the room in 20 minutes.
Players are encouraged to PLAN, as a team, SOLVE puzzles collaboratively in order to ESCAPE
before time expires. In case the puzzle was not solved, they will be locked inside a room and in
order for them to escape, they need to sacrifice one member so that they can continue to solve
another puzzles and collect chits.
