I. Description:

“The United Nations began with 51 countries, including the


Philippines. They signed the U.N. foundational treaty that brought the
international organization into existence on October 24, 1945. The United
Nations is committed to maintaining international peace and security.
Friendly relations were developed among nations to promote progress, better
living standards, and human rights. As of this time, member states at the
U.N. General Assembly reaffirmed their commitment for humanity through
the U.N. Charter. The concept of multilateralism reveals what the United
Nations is all about.”
The search for Senior High School Miss United Nations 2022 will
show an overview of the different countries in one presentation. The
presentation of National Costumes will make the learners and audience to
understand the difference of costumes and traditions of every country.

This pageant will also test the confidence of every candidate and their
capability to think under pressure. Audience of the pageant will surely
appreciate the diversity of cultures and grasp the purpose of celebrating
United Nation Month which is to make everyone stand and act.

II. Purpose:

The Cuyapo National High School Mr & Miss United Nations 2023
primary intention is to identify and showcase the world’s best National
Costume. Those who had the student personalities and the talents best
suited to promote their chosen country per year level/section and to foster
understanding with a cultural harmony.

III. Objectives:

The Cuyapo National High School Mr & Miss United Nations 2023
is adhered by the following objectives:
1. To make the students understand the importance of United
Nations Organization, through representation of United Nation
member countries in the pageant.
2. To instill the value of camaraderie and friendship among
classmates, and the school community.
3. To help the students appreciate the cultural diversity of each
nation.
4. To help students develop self-confidence.

IV. Mechanics:

1. Each section will have to pick the country they will be representing for
the search of Mr. & Miss United Nations 2023.
2. Each section will have one representative, a girl/boy.
3. Each section should be able to prepare a 25 pesos signature
campaign for each student as their representative.
4. Each Representative/s should be dressed in their country’s National
Costume.
5. Each Representative should prepare the production number.
6. Schedule of Canvassing:
1st Canvassing – October 20, 2023
2nd/Last Canvassing – November 7, 2023
7. Expected day of culminating activity: November 10, 2023 (Friday)
8. Criteria for Judging:
Signature Campaign – 40%
National Costume – 30%
Beauty, Poise and Wit – 30 %
TOTAL - 100%

Mr & Miss PEACE UN 2023 1st Runner Up
Mr & Miss JUSTICE UN 2023 2nd Runner Up
Mr & Miss HARMONY UN 2023 3rd Runner Up
Mr & Miss LIBERTY UN 2023 4th Runner Up

10. Percentage for the SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN:


60% - for the School Proceeds/AP Dept Project
20% - for the Candidates
20% - for the Classroom
V. Proceeds
The school fund raising activity proceeds will be establishing of
the flag pole and school garden set.

VI. Monitoring and Evaluation:


Monitoring and evaluation are integral components of effective
program management, ensuring that resources are utilized
efficiently, objectives are met, and desired outcomes are achieved.
