refers to people, places, things and animals. It does not refer to specific name.
4. Teacher also tells the pupils that there are two types of common nouns:
Time singular noun and plural noun.

and sausages in a big basket. They enjoyed sitting on the sandy beach under the tall coconut trees. They had a good
time together as a family.
