Film Review on a movie and synopsis :
The film begins with the story of a little boy named ishaan Nandkishore
Awasthi who has not been able to read or write even though he was 8 years old.
At school and around his home Ishaan always rebel and often make a fuss. Ishaan
has an elder brother named Yohan, ihsan's elder brother has a obedient character
and is well known as an outstanding student and clever in all subjects. Yohan is a
charitable and patient to faces his dissident and stubborn little brother, he is
always encouraging of Ishaan. Ishaan as the main character in this film is hates
school because every lesson is difficult for him and he always got failure on his
exam. Every child has their way of seeing around the world. Ishaan has a very
unique perspective about the environment around him, his uniqueness that makes
isolated and underestimated. Ishaan has the advantage of painting he has a high
imagination so the paintings he made are always full of imagination and creative.
However, no one is aware of it because the people around him only analyze him
stupid and naughty for not being able to read and write. Whereas every day his
mother kindly taught him so he must can reads and writes well.
One day Ishaan fights with his neighbor because he can not throw the
ball properly. The boy's parents got angry and went to ishaan's house. The next
day ishaan was punished in the English lesson because he could not read and silly
act in the class. On the same day Ishaan has not collected his letter of value, to
avoid punishment ishaan finally ditching school with a tour of the city itself.
Ishaan asks his brother to make a fake letter saying he is sick. However, the letter
was read by his father. Ishaan's father was very angry and decided to include
ishaan to boarding school. Ishaan was very saddened by the decision of her
parents because she never wanted to be away from her mother.
Ishaan finally went to boarding school. Ishaan feels his parents throw his
away because he is stupid and naughty. Ishaan became moody and he does not
want to paint anymore. He is like a child who lost his spirit and confidence in his
new school. At the boarding school, the teachers' actions toward him are the same
as in the school. Teachers always do force and scold him if he can not read and
write without knowing the cause of the problem Until one day there was a new art
teacher at his school named Ram Shankar Nikumbh. Ram is an art teacher who
has a fun nature because Ram is a teacher at an abnormal school as well so he is
trained as a teacher with high sensitivity to understand the characteristics of each
child. One day Ram told his students including Ishaan to paint with a free theme
but ishaan not draw anything. Ram asks Ishaan about a ishaan friend named
Raajan and he tells that Ishaan is still very sad to live in a dormitory and he wants
to go home instead of that he told to Ram that Ishaan is always scolded by every
teacher for not being able to read and write. Ram then starts to find out why
Ishaan can not read and write.
Ram starts to find out the cause of Ishaan not being able to read and
write, he starts from seeing Ishaan's books. From there Ram knew that Ishaan
always wrote letters in reverse. Ram finds that Ishaan has Dyslexia. Dyslexia is a
disease that makes its sufferer difficult to distinguis and recognize letters, follows
several commands and can not estimate between size, distance, and speed. Then
Ram decides to tell Ishaan's parents by going to Ishaan's house. Ram explains that
Ishaan is not stupid but ishaan has a dyslexia. Ishaan's parents are surprised to
hear Ram's explanation of the dyslexia his son is having. As parents, they do not
realize that their child has the disease. Ishaan covered her illness with mischief
every day.
One day Ram asked the principal for permission to teach Ishaan
personally for Ishaan to read and write. When giving lessons to Ishaan, Ram is
very patient in teaching Ishaan, because he believes dyslexic children have the
ability to think above the average normal child so that ishaan can create paintings
with a broad imagination. From Ishaan's painting, Ram has an idea to hold a
painting contest for all ages at the boarding school. He holds this competition to
restore Ishaan's confidence and the views of others including the headmaster who
judging the idiot figure at the boarding school. In the end Ram's guess is right,
Ihsaan's painting were very creative and full of imagination. The result of the
painting was made a cover for the school yearbook. From the patience of Ram
also makes the spirit of ishaan increased in every day so that in the end Ishaan can
read and write and show the ability rapidly in every subjects. Ishaan's parents and
sister are proud and touched to see the development, it's all thanks to a patient
teacher like Ram.
Moral Value :
Taaree Zameen Par movie has some moral message yaiu parent role is
very important in child development. The intelligence of every child is different,
therefore we should not be able to compare the intelligence of each person.
Intelligence can not be judged simply because of a value in school. As parents
should support so that children can develop in accordance with their own talents
and volition. Because every child is special.
Advantages :
This film is very inspiring for everyone. This film provides knowledge
of how to look at dyslexic children. The audience becomes aware that the dyslexic
child is not a fool but he is just having trouble recognizing letters and needs more
help to understand the writings. The cast in this film also has a good inspiration so
that the audience can feel how the sense of dilemma of a child who is dyslexic.
Deficiency :
The film has its flaws when Ram started teaching Ishaan reading and
writing methods used are not explained. It should be added to make viewers
understand how to teach dyslexic children.
