I have made and instruction video and made a printable sheet to help you out.
of course you may want to print out a visual, it isn't to scale but the measurements are listed for you.
It's sooner than you think!
I'm back at Create and Craft TV at 9pm 22nd of June with the Hunkydory Christmas Craftinator, this a humongous kit that will tick all of the boxes for all of your Christmas cards.
I have decided to show some fancy folds with my demonstrations for the show, I know that I like to make and give special cards for my family at Christmas time and I am sure you will be the same.
As you can see from the image below you also get the special edition magazine with this kit to give you oodles of inspiration.
For thos of you that are planning to watch the show check out my poinsettia brooche that I made out of some of the mirri dazzle card from previous shows.
Sunday 5th June at 6am I'll be heading my way to Peterborough for the 12 noon show with Dean to showcase the gorgeous Pampered Paws collection on Create and Craft for Hunkydory.
As we are a nation of pet lovers this one is sure to please.
My other shows are 8pm Sunday then Monday 12 noon and 3pm.
We have been in a bit of a quandary over a living room clock, not wanting to hang anything on the walls as yet and not able to find a mantel clock that I liked.
I found one today in Next, the only problem we had was that it was grey and wouldn't go with our home decor.
I bought it anyway as a stop gap as it was odd not having a clock in the living room. I placed it on the mantel piece but it looked dreadful, then this happened.......
And now it looks right at home.
I'm back at Create and Craft TV from Saturday through to Tuesday so I hope you will join me at some point as I have had loads of fun with the Deco Shimmer, it is so beautiful and got me thinking of lots of different style cards.
Show times are as follows.
Saturday 6pm and 8pm, Sunday 12pm, 4pm and 7pm, Monday 12pm and 3pm and Tuesday 8am and 4pm.
Sky 674 Freeview 23 Virgin 748 Freesat 813
It's brilliant to sit and play with inks and glitter and have fun crafting, the Stylish Silhouettes from Hunkydory Crafts lets you do just that.
I masked off my card with masking tape and used copper and gold Brilliance inks to create a rectangle down the length of the card using a little cut and dry foam.
Using the Stylish Silhouettes butterflies I add Sticky Mitts glue ot one half of the butterflies and sprinkled them with Diamond Sparkle glitters then added the butterflies half on and half off the inked rectangle.
I finished with one of the sentiments from the Stylish Silhouettes inked with the same Brilliance ink.
Not just Adorable Scorable but Pearlescent too, who would have thought that a year ago I would be so impressed with a range of card stock that I would remove all other card stock from my craft room?
Well I did and I haven't looked back.
Tomorrow I have the privilege of showing you some extra special Pearlescent Adorable Scorable, I thought is would be impossible to make this any better but Hunkdory proved me wrong.
My show times on Create and Craft TV are Sunday 4pm and 9pm, Monday 8am, 6pm & 9pm Tuesday 9am.
Ruth takes over on Tuesday at 5pm.
I was thinking that by now you will have started to receive the Little books that were purchased on my last shows so I thought I would show you a couple of cards that I made during the shows.
The first is the locker room (changing room) card.
Using the Adorable Scorable card stock in Cotton White to score and create a tile effect background.
Don't be frightened to play with these sheets, by cutting out the shirts and crushing them it gives the appearance of hanging shirts, if I left the nun crumpled they wouldn't have looked right, they would have looked as if they had been starched.
Next up is the Teacups with Filled with flowers.
Again teaming the image with coordinating Adorable Scorable and matching background card and making it into a centre stepper card.
I think the colours in this one is just lovely.
Hunkydory beautiful butterflies, did you get yours from my last shows?
I hope you managed to get them. I thought I would play a little bit more when I got home, I love colouring and faffing with paper but the beauty of the Liftables is if you don't want to faff you don't have to.
First a bit of cutting, I thought I would just cut and see what happens.
I was pretty pleased with how this one turned out.
The next is from one of my shows.
This was another from my shows but I decided to add some colour to the butterflies with the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens
A close up of the simplicity of this card, let's call it child play.
Now while I had the sparkle pens in my hands I thought I would keep going and made this.
So very vibrant, just adding water and saturating the background before adding one or two drops from the Sparkle pens.
The next is using Copic pens and pan pastels
New from Hunkydory Crafts 50 shades of Mirri, released today on Create and Craft TV.
Superb for giving your card making that something different.
This card was made using one of the blue shades, it die cuts beautifully.
I also used a digital image from Mo's Digi Pencil and coloured her with only the Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens, I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get skin tones and shading with them.
