Every year, The Daily News supports nonprofit organizations in Galveston County through our in-kind grant program. We know the vital role nonprofits play in communities throughout the area and are pleased to offer assistant in support of their mission.
Who can apply?
The Daily News accepts applications for in-kind requests from organizations that promote economic development, community development and education.
We do not approve requests from political or national organizations or strictly fraternal or religious organizations. Proposals to promote or fund an individual’s travel expenses, trips for athletics, band or drama organizations, or the purchase of raffle tickets also will not be considered.
I've received a donation in the past do I need to fill out another request?
Yes. Organizations must submit an application each time they wish to be considered in the next annual round of grant awards.
When are applications due?
Applications are due Nov. 18, 2024. Decisions will be made and applicants notified in early January. In-kind donations awarded can be used during the 2025 calendar year..
