Dianne de Guzman is an award-winning journalist and deputy editor for Eater SF. She covers the restaurant, bar, and pop-up scene in the Bay Area, writing about new openings, trend pieces, in-depth profiles, and closures. Dianne’s been a journalist for over 10 years and she’s worked as the Food + Drink editor at SFGATE; a public safety reporter for the Vallejo Times-Herald; a contributor to SFist; and as a web producer for the Los Angeles Times. She is a UC Berkeley graduate and earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Southern California. She was born and raised in the Bay Area.
