Discovering the icons of the future “We see ourselves as treasure hunters,” says Jacob Gubi Olsen, CEO of the Danish business founded by his parents, Gubi and Lisbeth Olsen. Gubi produces innovative modern design with courage and intuition. “We see ourselves as treasure hunters,” says Jacob Gubi Olsen, CEO of the Copenhagen-based business founded by his parents, Gubi and Lisbeth Olsen. The company is committed to bringing classic pieces back into production, while also commissioning new pieces by today’s globally recognized designers.

Discovering icons of the future requires having an “uncanny ability to recognize diamonds in the rough,” says the CEO. The result is an eclectic, intercontinental selection of furniture, lighting and interior objects that spans almost 100 years of design history, embracing tales of distinct personalities and true visionaries of their time.
