Those of us who didn’t know what tiramisu was before that movie soon learned of its goodness as more and more restaurants put the dessert on their menus and home cooks turned to recipes to find out how to make the popular Italian coffee-soaked dessert. Trader Joe’s created its own version of the sweet treat, Trader Giotto's Tiramisu Torte, and it became a fan favorite at the grocery chain. That torte is rumored to have been discontinued, according to Reddit. But fear not, if the tiramisu torte is gone for good, there is still another version in Trader Joe’s dessert freezer, just in a different form. And just in time for the holidays. This new tiramisu is joined by another new dessert that is just as enticing and has us all excited. Trader Joe’s New Individual Tiramisu Trader Joe’s recently released individual tiramisu cups in packages of two. Instagram’s Trader Joe’s Obsessed posted photos of the $4.49, 13.05-ounce (for two) dessert that’s found in the freezer section. “The new tiramisu is so good and way better than the large circle cake!” said Shannon who runs the Instagram account. “It’s creamy, not too dense or too sweet!!” She also said that each cup is the “perfect size for one.” One commenter said, “Yes I’m obsessed!!! It was SO GOOD,” and another said, “Seriously inhaled it!! Sooooooo goood!!!!!!” “Makes me excited to go grocery shopping,” commented another person on the post. We get it. It’s always exciting to go shopping at Trader Joe’s, especially to discover new items. The individual servings of tiramisu do look tempting, but another totally new Trader Joe’s dessert in individual serving sizes also just showed up in the freezer section. It has us super excited for our next grocery shopping trip. Trader Joe’s New Pretzel Bread Pudding On Reddit, user aswewaltz posted about the tiramisu and about the brand new “delicious” Pretzel Bread Pudding, also in a package with two individual servings. The pudding comes with salted caramel sauce, and as one Redditor said, it’s “Amazing. Going back to buy 10 more. 10/10.” Another said, “It’s...beyond delicious. It was soooo good.” Trader Joe’s describes this dessert as “a true celebration of sweet and salty.” It has soft pretzel pieces baked in egg custard on top of salted caramel sauce. When it’s heated in its container, the salted caramel covers the bread pudding after you flip it over onto a plate. Honestly, that does sound amazing, and we can’t wait to get to Trader Joe’s and grab some for ourselves to keep on hand for holiday dessert trays (how perfect are they for the season?!) or for a quiet night when something sweet is in order (and we're watching "Sleepless in Seattle"). Fingers crossed that neither the Tiramisu cups nor the Pretzel Bread Pudding cups sell out too quickly, but we have a sinking feeling that they will. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback!
