In this case, the brand gave us a twist on a condiment we already know and love, and fans are loving it. Earlier this month, Trader Joe’s released Truffle Ranch Dressing. The store describes the new dressing as “a classic, creamy, herbaceous Ranch Dressing” infused with “real, unmistakably umami-rich black Truffle. The result is a complex, deeply savory, pour-it-on-everything Dressing that we can’t get enough of.” And so far, fans are in total agreement. Trader Joe's New Truffle Ranch Dressing On the Trader Joe’s fan Instagram account trader_joes_treasure_hunt, consumers are sounding off in the comments with rave reviews. One commenter said, “I may have just chugged a whole bottle! Seriously tasted great can’t wait to dip some wings in it!” On another popular fan account traderjoeslist, a commenter said, “It’s soooooo good! Will be putting this on everything! I’ve never had a better shelf stable ranch.” What Is a Truffle? This ranch uses black truffles, which are more commonly found than their white truffle counterpart. Black truffles are less aromatic than white truffles, which are often enjoyed raw and shaved over a finished dish. But, black truffles stand up better to heat, which is why they are more commonly used in sauces and cooked applications. Trader Joe’s has released a variety of truffle items in the past, including condiments such as a truffle-fied balsamic glaze and a truffle-infused ketchup as well as ready-to-eat goodies such as mushroom and black truffle flatbread. Umami-rich truffles add a savory, complex flavor to herbaceous, tangy ranch that elevates the flavor of whatever dish you would usually use ranch on. The new product is $6.99 for a 9.6-ounce bottle, and unlike some Trader Joe’s dressings, you’ll find this one in the dry goods section of the store. You can of course use it to dress up a salad, drizzle it on pizza, use it as a dip for veggies or fries, or dunk wings or chicken nuggets in it. Whatever you’re planning to use it on, this is a limited-time-only product, so you’ll need to get to your Trader Joe’s location before it runs out. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback!
