It won't last long.

You might still be recovering from your big Fourth of July barbecue, but potlucks and picnics are far from over. Because our calendars are already pretty full, we like to be prepared for get-togethers and spontaneous pool days at all times.

That’s why we seek out store-bought shortcuts that make life easier—without sacrificing taste. Yes, we love a homemade baked potato dip or macaroni salad as much as the next person, but if you don’t have the time, store-bought does just fine.

There are quite a few store-bought dips we enjoy—like Aldi’s seven-layer dip and any French onion dip—but we particularly love shopping at Sam’s Club for our one-stop chips and dip shop. Not only does Sam’s sell delicious dips—like spinach and artichoke, queso, and Buffalo chicken—but its bulk sizes feed a crowd for cheap. Recently, Sam’s Club introduced a new heat-and-eat dip under its Member’s Mark private label that definitely deserves a spot at all our upcoming events.

Sam’s new Member’s Mark Pizza Style Dip and Spread with Pepperoni has hit clubs nationwide and is already a fast favorite among pizza lovers. The refrigerated dip is made with cream cheese, real tomatoes, Italian herbs, mozzarella, and pepperoni.

While it can be enjoyed straight from the fridge, Sam’s recommends heating it up to resemble a real pizza—or homemade pizza dip. Once heated, the pepperoni pizza dip takes on a creamy, cheesy texture that can be enjoyed on pita, tortilla chips, crackers, and vegetables.

The $8.98 dip has been spotted at multiple club stores nationwide, and many customers are raving.

“Can confirm, it's delicious! Especially heated up with some French bread,” one Instagram user commented.

The general consensus is the dip shines when heated—some customers have even added the spread to bread or bagels then air-fried it for a tasty experience. After your potluck, if you have any leftovers, a few customers have recommended mixing the dip with jarred marinara for a flavorful, creamy pasta sauce.

However you enjoy it, it seems like Sam’s new pizza dip will be around for a while—if not permanently—so, you might have just found the easiest potluck staple that will carry you through tailgating season
