Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef

  • 1 ¼ cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs

  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 large egg, beaten

  • 1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce

  • 1 (16 ounce) can crushed tomatoes

  • 1 (14.25 ounce) can tomato puree

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.

  2. Place ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, and egg in a large bowl. Mix well until evenly combined; shape into 16 meatballs.

  3. Pour spaghetti sauce and crushed tomatoes into the slow cooker; stir in tomato puree. Place the meatballs into the sauce mixture.

  4. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
