Something went wrong. Our team is working on it. Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings 2 tablespoons butter 1 Royal Gala apple - peeled, cored and sliced 1 cup white wine ¼ cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ⅓ cup golden raisins Directions Melt butter in a skillet over low heat. Add apples, and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the white wine, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and golden raisins. Cook over medium heat until the liquid has reduced and is thick. Note This recipe is very flexible as to which ingredients you choose. I chose to use Dubonnet aperitif wine, although there's enough sugar in the recipe that a drier wine could be used. Different apples or raisins could be used as well, these are just my personal preference. I Made It Print 30 home cooks made it!
