Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 24 servings

  • cooking spray

  • 1 pound thinly sliced ham

  • ½ pound sliced Swiss cheese

  • 2 (12 count) packages Hawaiian bread rolls (such as King's)

  • 1 cup butter, melted

  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard

  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds

Directions

  1. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Place ham and Swiss cheese slices on the bottom of each bread roll and cover with tops; arrange rolls in an even layer on the prepared sheet.

  2. Mix butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire, mustard, and poppy seeds together in a small bowl; spoon over sandwich tops. Let sit, at least 1 hour to overnight.

  3. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

  4. Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, until golden on top and cheese is melted, about 15 to 20 minutes.
