Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 8 servings

  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 1 cup salted butter

  • 6 ounces chopped bacon

  • 1 pinch seasoned salt (such as Lawry's), or to taste

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Stir cabbage, chicken broth, onion, butter, bacon, seasoned salt, salt, and black pepper together in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until cabbage is tender, 1 ½ to 2 hours.
