Submitted by Jfrosty Updated on January 14, 2022 Save Rate Print Share Close Add Photo Prep Time: 15 mins Total Time: 15 mins Servings: 10 Yield: 10 servings Jump to Nutrition Facts Cook Mode (Keep screen awake) Ingredients 2 apples, cored and quartered 3 bananas, broken into chunks 1 cup dates, pitted 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 orange, zested and juiced lemon, zested and juiced 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons white sugar ⅓ cup dry red wine 2 tablespoons matzo meal, or as needed Directions Blend apples, bananas, dates, walnuts, orange zest and juice, lemon zest and juice, cinnamon, and sugar in a food processor until chunky. Transfer apple mixture to a bowl and stir in wine. Gradually stir matzo meal into apple mixture, adding enough to soak up the wine; chill in refrigerator. Cook's Note: Substitute peanuts for walnuts if eating kitniyos.
