Dotdash Meredith Food Studios Whisk flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together in a medium bowl until well combined; add to sugar mixture and stir until just combined. Stir in apples until evenly combined. Spoon batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cover loaf pan with aluminum foil; continue baking until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 15 minutes more. Cool briefly in the pan before removing to cool completely on a wire rack. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios Slice and enjoy! Dotdash Meredith Food Studios Cook’s Note I use firm apples that are good for baking. Braeburn, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, and Honeycrisp apples all work well. Editor's Note This recipe was tested in our test kitchen and updated to reduce the amount of sugar based on user feedback. The original recipe used 2 cups. I Made It Print 625 home cooks made it!
