Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 9 servings

  • 2 cups baking mix (such as Original Bisquick)

  • cup milk

  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine

  • teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

  2. Combine baking mix, milk, and Cheddar cheese until a soft dough forms; drop by 9 spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Combine butter and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits.
