Hershey’s may be a Halloween leader, but the beloved brand is tapping into the winter holiday season extra hard this year with a few new launches for some of its favorite candies. We’ve come to expect Reese’s trees and Grinch Hershey’s Kisses—along with the classic Kisses holiday bells commercial—every year. However, this year, Hershey’s has some tricks up its sleeve with a new sugar cookie-filled Reese’s cup, tree-shaped Twizzler bites, and the first-ever Kit Kat shape. Everyone knows the best way to eat a Kit Kat is by breaking the wafer pieces at the perforation and eating them one at a time. The candy’s jingle says, “Break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar,” for a reason. However, the new holiday candy is giving that mold a break with the introduction of Kit Kat Santas. Kit Kat Launches First-Ever Holiday Santa Shape KitKat/Allrecipes For the first time ever, Kit Kat is taking a page from Reese’s playbook by shaping its iconic chocolate-covered wafer candy into something new. For the brand-new holiday shape, Kit Kat chose snack-sized Santas. The individually wrapped Kit Kats are shaped like Santa Claus—complete with the beard, hat, and even a belt buckle for his signature red coat. And, because Kit Kat is notorious for imprinting its logo on the candy, each Santa has two “Kit Kat” logos on the shoes. Kit Kat Santas are the same crispy wafers doused in milk chocolate that you know and love, just in a festive new shape ideal for adorning your holiday dessert table and stuffing stockings. Nestlé—the maker of Kit Kats in other countries—has sold Kit Kat Santas for years, even offering one filled with speculoos cookie pieces. So, it’s great to see Hershey’s bring a fun, international fan-favorite to the U.S. Kit Kat Santas are rolling out to retailers nationwide now along with the rest of the Hershey’s festive lineup—including the new Reese’s Shapes assortment, Sugar Cookie Hershey’s Kisses, and Twizzlers Merry Berry Punch. This holiday season, we guess the new jingle will have to be “Break me off a piece of that San-ta Claus.” Hey, it works! Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
