2 New Little Debbie Treats Are Coming to Stores Now

With the holidays now barely seen in the rearview mirror, you may have chosen to take a break from Little Debbie products, especially if you had your fill of Christmas Tree Brownies, Iced Gingerbread Men, Cherry Cordials, and the super popular Christmas Tree Cakes, plus its holiday-themed ice creams.

If you find yourself thinking, “It’s been about three weeks since I’ve had a Little Debbie treat,” and want to give some of your money to the Little Debbie family—yes, it is a family-owned company, and there is a real Little Debbie who is now an executive vice president of the brand—it just launched two new products that you need to consider before deciding which treats to buy.

New Little Debbie Star Crunch and Strawberry Shortcake Roll Ice Cream Bars

Little Debbie doesn’t make only snack cakes. In recent years, it’s partnered with Michigan's Hudsonville Ice Cream to create ice cream flavors inspired by those snack cakes, sold exclusively at Walmart. 

Once the company created ice cream, it was only natural to create ice cream bars. The first bar to hit freezer shelves was Nutty Bars, peanut butter ice cream dipped in crispy milk chocolate. Those bars seem to previously have been sold exclusively at Walmart, also.

Now, Little Debbie is giving those Nutty Bars some siblings, adding two new flavors that are showing up in stores now. Instagram’s Snackolator hinted about the bars a couple of weeks ago, showing one of the flavors and noting they were able to “confirm they are NOT exclusive to Walmart as some past items have been.”

What are the new Little Debbie Ice Cream Bar flavors? A more recent video posted on Snackolator’s Instagram shows proof that these new ice cream flavors are in the freezer dessert section (next to the Nutty Bars) of an unidentified grocery store.

• Strawberry Shortcake Rolls Ice Cream Bars: Cake-flavored ice cream with cake crumbles and sweet strawberry swirls.
• Star Crunch Ice Cream Bars: Caramel-flavored ice cream with a caramel ribbon and crispy bits dipped in milk chocolate.

Snackolator isn’t the only Instagrammer in the know about these new treats. Markie_devo posted a photo of them and mentioned that “both of these have been spotted at several major stores owned by Kroger (not exclusive).” 

One of his followers echoed our own sentiment at seeing a photo of the new Little Debbie treats: “Give me both.”
