The latest in snack news arrived last week, when Doritos announced four new flavors of its Dinamita chips are coming to stores just in time for Super Bowl Sunday. But sorry to those flavors, because I'll be reaching right past them and going for a fan-favorite flavor that just quietly returned to shelves. That's because the Doritos Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch are a can't-miss chip worthy of the title of "The Best Chip Ever Created."

Doritos' Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch flavor has been around for more than a decade, but has come and gone from shelves seemingly without warning despite gaining cult favorite status.

Some users first spotted the chips about a year ago at Walmart, but now they appear to be more widespread at a variety of stores. I first spotted them in a video from the Instagram account @snackolator (alongside another snack spotting—new Little Debbie treats).

What makes these chips so good? The fiery fusion of flavors. Each chip features a mix of spicy Buffalo seasoning and cooling ranch (see what I did there?!)—the perfect ying and yang. The pairing of Buffalo wings and ranch dressing is a classic for a reason, and this chip perfectly encapsulates that balance of sweet heat and zesty creaminess.

One of our editors recently tried them for the first time and reported back: "The Doritos Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch flavor takes the best things about a beloved, crave-able appetizer and turns it into a chip. Where to Buy Doritos Blazin' Buffalo & Ranch

You may have noticed the Doritos do appear to be out of stock online at Walmart and Target at the moment. But don't panic. Our editor found them at her local Giant Eagle just this week, and Reddit users have spotted them at Dollar General, Jewel-Osco, and Albertons' stores. Online, Hy-Vee, King Kullen, Kroger, Shoprite, and several other local grocery chains list them as in stock.

We know these Doritos tend to disappear from shelves without warning, so if you see them, stock up. They're the perfect football food and you'll be thanking yourself in a few weeks when the Super Bowl rolls around and you bought an extra bag...or three.
