A cult film actor, Campbell is best known for portraying Ash Williams in Sam Raimi's hit Evil Dead franchise, from the 1978 short film Within the Woods to the currently ongoing TV series Ash vs. Evil Dead. He also has starred in many low-budget cult films such as Crimewave (1985), Maniac Cop (1988), Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat (1989), and Bubba Ho-Tep (2002). He has since made small appearances in successful films such as Darkman (1990), the Fargo film (1996) and TV series (2015), The X-Files (1999), Ellen (1996-1997), Charmed (2002), Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009) and Cars 2 (2011). Campbell is of Scottish descent.
Campbell started his directing career with Fanalysis (2002) and A Community Speaks (2004), and then with the horror comedy feature films Man with the Screaming Brain (2005) and My Name Is Bruce (2007), the latter being a spoof of his career. In television, Campbell also is known for his lead roles in both The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (1993-1994) and Jack of all Trades (2000), his starring role of Autolycus (the King of Thieves) in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess (1995-1999), and notably for his role as Sam Axe on the USA Network series Burn Notice (2007-2013).
Bruce Campbell (15 June 1912 – 9 January 1993) was an English ornithologist, writer and broadcaster, closely associated with the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO).
Campbell was born in Southsea, Hampshire on 15 June 1912. As a young boy, he was influenced by his father, an army officer, birds-nester and egg-collector, who later became the British Army's Inspector of Physical Training. After education at Winchester College, he studied at the University of Edinburgh, obtaining a BSc in forestry. He later gained a doctorate in comparative bird studies, so becoming one of the first field naturalists to also be a trained scientist. In 1938, he married Margaret Gibson-Hill, herself a writer, with whom he had two sons and one daughter. From 1936 to 1948, he was a teacher and university lecturer. After World War II, he brought the work of sound recordist Ludwig Koch to the attention of the BTO. In 1948, Campbell was appointed the first full-time secretary of the BTO, a post he held until 1959. He served on the panel of the Wildlife Collection with Julian Huxley, and was active in the British Ornithologists' Union, the British Ecological Society, and conservation bodies. He conducted a pioneering study of the pied flycatcher at the Nagshead woodland reserve, Gloucestershire. He made radio and television broadcasts relating to natural history for the BBC during the 1950s. In April 1959, despite his having had no previous experience as a producer, he was appointed senior producer at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, a position he held until 1962. He died on 9 January 1993 in Witney, Oxfordshire.
(Keith) Bruce Campbell QC (25 October 1916 – 1990) was a New Zealand-born British lawyer, judge and politician. As a barrister, he specialised in divorce law, and during a brief Parliamentary career he also concentrated on family law issues. His term in office as a judge ended in scandal and enforced removal from office.
Campbell was born in Christchurch, New Zealand and attended Christchurch Technical College and Canterbury University. He moved to London in the late 1930s to undertake postgraduate training at the University of London. When his course was over in 1941 he was given an officer's commission in the Royal Army Service Corps; he served in North Africa and Italy.
On demobilisation Campbell was called to the bar at the Inner Temple. He practised in divorce law, usually on the North-Western circuit, and served on the General Council of the Bar from 1956 to 1960 and from 1965 to 1970. He was made a Queen's Counsel in 1964.
Bruce Campbell (October 20, 1909 – June 17, 1995) was a professional baseball player from 1930 to 1942. Campbell began his career with the Chicago White Sox, but had very little playing time in the major leagues. In 1932, Campbell was traded from the White Sox to the St. Louis Browns, with Bump Hadley, for Red Kress. In St. Louis, Campbell was a starting outfielder, and performed well, driving in 106 runs in 1933. In the 1935 season, Campbell played with the Cleveland Indians, after being traded for multiple players and cash. In Cleveland, Campbell hit for considerably higher averages than he had in St. Louis, although injuries limited his playing time.
In January 1940, the Indians traded Campbell to the Detroit Tigers for Beau Bell. The trade worked out for Campbell, as the Tigers won the American League pennant, and Campbell played all seven games of the 1940 World Series. Campbell had nine hits, four walks, scored four runs, five runs batted in and a home run in the World Series, with a batting average of .360, on-base percentage of .448 and slugging percentage of .520.
Robert Wallace Bruce Campbell (2 May 1890 – 16 October 1964) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton, Fitzroy and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Campbell, a Victorian by birth, was brought up in Western Australia and debuted for Subiaco in 1908.
He started his VFL career at Carlton, appearing in the opening three rounds of the 1911 season. His first two league game ended in draws and the third was decided by a margin of just two points. They would be the only games he played for Carlton and he finished the season at Fitzroy.
Used as a forward, Campbell made an immediate impression at his new club and despite only playing the second half of the season was their leading goal-kicker with 25 goals. He would only make six appearances in 1912 and decided to return to Subiaco.
Campbell continued playing for Subiaco until 1919, although he missed three seasons during the war. He was a member of Subiaco's 1913 and 1915 premiership winning teams.

Marks and Spencer plc (also known as M&S) is a major British multinational retailer headquartered in the City of Westminster, London. It specialises in the selling of clothing, home products and luxury food products. M&S was founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds.
In 1998, the company became the first British retailer to make a pre-tax profit of over £1 billion, although subsequently it went into a sudden slump, which took the company, its shareholders, who included hundreds of thousands of small investors, and nearly all retail analysts and business journalists, by surprise. In November 2009, it was announced that Marc Bolland, formerly of Morrisons, would take over as chief executive from executive chairman Stuart Rose in early 2010; Rose remained in the role of non-executive chairman until he was replaced by Robert Swannell in January 2011.
It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
The company was founded by a partnership between Michael Marks, a Polish Jew from Słonim (Marks was born into a Polish-Jewish family, a Polish refugee living in the Russian Empire, now in Belarus), and Thomas Spencer, a cashier from the English market town of Skipton in North Yorkshire. On his arrival in England, Marks worked for a company in Leeds, called Barran, which employed refugees (see Sir John Barran, 1st Baronet). In 1884 he met Isaac Jowitt Dewhirst while looking for work. Dewhirst lent Marks £5 which he used to establish his Penny Bazaar on Kirkgate Market, in Leeds. Dewhirst also taught him a little English. Dewhirst's cashier was Tom Spencer, an excellent bookkeeper, whose lively and intelligent second wife, Agnes, helped improve Marks' English. In 1894, when Marks acquired a permanent stall in Leeds' covered market, he invited Spencer to become his partner.

Bruce Campbell has been regarded for decades as the king of B list movies. This retrospective will delve through his career through the decades. Bruce Campbell was born in Michigan on June 22, 1958. His mom Joanne Louise was a homemaker and his father Charles Newton Campbell worked in advertising for many years, later teaching in different colleges as an adjunct professor, and was also an actor and director in local theatres. This kinda goes to show that acting was most probably already in his family and he might have even gotten the acting bug from his dad. Campbell’s acting began as a teenager making short super 8 movies with future famous director Sam Raimi, whom at the time was just a regular teenager like Bruce. They were attending Wylie E. Groves Highschool together. And If you ...

Join us as we breakdown one of the most infamous horror films of all time, Sam Raimi's cult classic indie horror film, The Evil Dead! Raimi's feature debut launched an entire Evil Dead universe and made Bruce Campbell a cult film icon. Not bad for a guy who wasn't even old enough to buy a beer when filming began. Five friends take a trip to a cabin in the woods for a little R&R, but things go wrong when they play a tape of incantations from The Necronomicon (although, to be fair, it's not actually called The Necronomicon in this film). Next thing you know, the demons have awakened from their ancient slumber and the good times get rolling! Bill Cosby, 83, may be planning to go back on the road with a one-man show. Cosby’s spokesperson Andrew Wyatt told Inside Edition in an exclusive interview following Cosby’s release from prison. Cosby requested pizza as his first meal out of prison, where he was serving a three- to 10-year sentence for aggravated indecent assault against Temple University sports administrator Andrea Constand. The conviction was overturned on Wednesday, outraging many of the 60 women who allege he violated them. #InsideEdition
