A steam locomotive is a railway locomotive that produces its pulling power through a steam engine. These locomotives are fueled by burning combustible material—usually coal, wood, or oil—to produce steam in a boiler. The steam moves reciprocating pistons which are mechanically connected to the locomotive's main wheels (drivers). Both fuel and water supplies are carried with the locomotive, either on the locomotive itself or in wagons (tenders) pulled behind. The first steam locomotive, made by Richard Trevithick, first operated on 21 February 1804, three years after the road locomotive he made in 1801.
Steam locomotives were first developed in Great Britain during the early 19th century and dominated railway transport until the middle of the 20th century. From the early 1900s they were gradually superseded by electric and diesel locomotives, with full conversions to electric and diesel power beginning from the 1930s. The majority of steam locomotives were retired from regular service by the 1980s, though several continue to run on tourist and heritage lines.
Game Grumps is a Let's Play webseries starring animator Arin Hanson and musician Leigh Daniel Avidan, also known as "Danny Sexbang," from the musical comedy duo Ninja Sex Party. The show was created on July 10, 2012 by Hanson and comedic video game critic Jon "JonTron" Jafari. Jafari left the show in June 2013 to focus on his primary YouTube channel JonTron, and was subsequently replaced by Avidan. The channel also expanded to include new hosts in spin-offs: animator Ross O'Donovan, series editor Barry Kramer, and Suzy "Mortemer" Berhow, the group's manager and Hanson's wife. Additionally appearing in some, but few, episodes is the new primary editor of the show, Kevin Abernathy, as well as their newest member Brian "Ninja Brian" Wecht, the other half of Ninja Sex Party. Game Grumps was a part of Polaris, a network owned by Maker Studios, a subsidiary of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media division of The Walt Disney Company. They left the network in January of 2016.

Isaac (/ˈaɪzək/;Hebrew: יִצְחָק, Modern Yitskhak, Tiberian Yiṣḥāq, ISO 259-3 Yiçḥaq, "[he] will laugh"; Ancient Greek: Ἰσαάκ Isaak Arabic: إسحاق or إسحٰقʼIsḥāq) as described in the Hebrew Bible and the Qur'an, was the second son of Abraham, the only son Abraham had with his wife Sarah, and the father of Jacob and Esau. According to the Book of Genesis, Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born, and Sarah was past 90.
According to the Genesis narrative, Abraham brought Isaac to Mount Moriah, where, at God's command, Abraham built a sacrificial altar to sacrifice Isaac. This event served as a test of Abraham's faith. At the last moment an angel stopped him.
Isaac was one of the three patriarchs of the Israelites. Isaac was the only biblical patriarch whose name was not changed, and the only one who did not move out of Canaan. Compared to Abraham and Jacob, the Bible relates fewer incidents of Isaac's life. He died when he was 180 years old, making him the longest-lived of the three.
Isaac is an American TV show hosted by fashion designer and personality Isaac Mizrahi. It was shot in New York City, and aired on the Style Network in the United States. It premiered on December 5, 2005. Segments included man-on-the-street interviews, "Sketches and Answers" and celebrity interviews. He was supported by "Ben and the band" and an on-set coffee bar that served coffee to the most famous guests.
The show package was designed and created by E! On Air Design Art Director, Phil Han with Executive Producer Dione Li and SVP, Creative Director, Ann Epstein-Cohen.
The following is a list of characters from Camelot Software Planning's Golden Sun series of role-playing video games, consisting of 2001's Golden Sun for Game Boy Advance and its 2003 Game Boy Advance follow-up, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, which deals with the efforts of opposing groups of magic-wielding warriors concerning the restoration of the omnipotent force of Alchemy to the fictional world of Weyard. Classified as Adepts of Weyard's four base elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, these characters possess the ability to employ a chi-like form of magic named Psynergy. Adepts among the common populace are few and far between the settlements of the game's world. The game's characters were created and illustrated by Camelot's Shin Yamanouchi.
Steam locomotives are a rare sight in the 21st Century, but it is even more unusual to see two of them running together! In this video, we will see several different trains being pulled by two steam locomotives. We will visit several different railroads to see locomotives big and small as they work together to pull trains down the line. All aboard!
Union Pacific steam locomotive number 4014 is considered to be one of the largest locomotives ever built. It was one of 25 “Big Boy” locomotives but for the Union Pacific Railroad between 1941 and 1944 by the American Locomotive Company. In 2013, the Union Pacific made a deal with the Rail Giants Train Museum in Pomona, California to reacquire locomotive 4014 and restore it to operation as part of a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad in 2019. Come along as wee see the first test run of locomotive 4014 as well as its first excursion to Ogden, Utah and return. All aboard! In this video we take a look and listen to my best acoustical recordings which have been captured on video with the uninterrupted pure sound of steam engines at work. Every scene has been chosen carefully to showcase the sight and most importantly the 'Sound' of your favorite British locomotives, though three of our American guests feature at one point. This video is for the hardcore steam enthusiast or any lover of steam power and there are a few long intros in some of the scenes, this is so you can appreciate the sound of an incoming locomotive. In this video, you'll find no wind, no talking and no unwanted interference, just the pure acoustical bliss of steam locomotion with the added sounds of chirping birds. It's recommended to watch and listen via headphones or surround sound if thes...
•A step-by-step video, with descriptions, on how to fire up a coal-burning steam locomotive. The entire 6 - 7 hour process was shortened down to ~37 minutes in this video to highlight most of the main points. •The locomotive seen in the video is Denver and Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) mikado (2-8-2) #491, one of the largest narrow gauge locomotives ever created. It now runs at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado. It has ~37,100 pounds of tractive effort, and weighs ~150 tons or ~302,000 pounds. It was built in 1928 by the D&RGW Burnham shops in Denver, Colorado using the boiler off of a standard gauge D&RGW 2-8-0. #491 is a pristine example of a locomotive perfectly suited for rugged, mountain climbing work. •Copyright 2017 Jeff Berrier All Rights Reserved
