52F - Deng Deng (0): This is the first chapter of Volume 3 of Tower of God.
One year after the Battle of the Last Station, Ja Wangnan, Yeo Miseng, and Yeo Goseng reunite to find Horyang restored by Cassano. Another year later on the 49th Floor, Evan Edrok leads Ship Leesoo’s team through a sandstorm to meet Yeon Woon, only to encounter hostile Khukum and a mysterious blinding light. Two years prior, Madoraco planned to plunder the Last Station before Karaka, White, and Evankhell intervened, initiating negotiations to enlist Baylord Yama against Kallavan. As various characters disperse and follow separate paths, Evankhell begins training Baam, while Yeon Yihwa and Hong Danhwa face defeat by unknown Regulars. In the present, Baam appears halting the chase of a Regular.
Synopsis[]
One year after the Battle of The Last Station, Ja Wangnan and Yeo Miseng reunite with Yeo Goseng, who reveals that Beniamino Cassano kept his promise and restored Kang Horyang's body. As the trio heads toward Horyang’s room, Goseng asks about Hon Akraptor and Prince, but Wangnan and Miseng remain silent, agreeing to discuss it later. Upon entering Horyang’s room, they find Cassano and an awakened Horyang waiting for them.
One year later, on the 49th Floor, Team Ship is led by Evan Edrok to meet the Ranker Yeon Woon. Aleksai Amigochaz carries Khun Aguero Agnis's casket, while Hatsu, Rak Wraithraiser, and Vespa accompany them. As they journey through a harsh sandstorm, Evan dismisses their concerns and urges them to stay focused. While distracted by Ship’s team, Evan is attacked by Khukum riding flying beasts. He easily slaughters them before negotiating with the remaining Khukum. Evan is able to understand and translate their language, discovering that Woon is in hiding. Suddenly, a blinding light appears on the horizon.
Two years earlier, right after the battle of the Last Station, Madoraco watches the Last Station from his ship with two Rankers. When one asks what he plans to do with the station and the Regulars inside, Madoraco admits he hid them from the 4th Army Corp at Hwa Ryun's request, but intends to betray any further promises by plundering the station. However, his plan is halted when Karaka, White, and Evankhell emerge from the station and request a meeting.
Karaka seeks Madoraco’s help in recruiting Baylord Yama to fight Kallavan. In return, Karaka will give Madoraco the Soul-Stirring Ladle. Michael and Apple, along with another individual, are revealed to have warped with the Last Station, waiting for Rachel. Androssi interrogates the Traveller about Rachel and Emily, but Anak interrupts. Ship’s team and Evan then depart to find Yeon Woon. Meanwhile, Sachi Faker and Boro separate from the group to follow their own path.
Evankhell begins training Baam, providing him with a series of battlefields to clear. After completing each level, she will teach him something new. Several months later, Yeon Yihwa and Hong Danhwa are seen defeated by two mysterious Regulars sent by Levy. Two years after that, in the present time, a Regular is being pursued by another Regular, but the chase is interrupted by Baam.

I guess even during the hiatus I almost constantly worked (I forgot Feb was so short...)
But I made a couple of chapters and I had time to make those chapters, so ^^
Even though my pockets got lighter, I thought "I could get used to this ~!!" during that time. Hahaha.

I debated whether I should come back as S2 or S3. Originally S2 was gonna be really long, but a lot of reasons and advice pointed to making me S3. We'll see higher, more influential people in S3.^^

As I end every hiatus, I feel pressured as time goes on what kind of content do I bring back, what kind of narrative do I show. I think my conclusion is that unlike many long-term works, I want to tell a story that is ready in advance. Slow and not too sensational, but more natural, and fun every once in a while. (is this compacancy who cares.) Just like how Baam is facing this great Tower and enemies, I want to give it a natural progression. And if it don't work out, well... I can always just get Baam to cross dress for a bit and watch the views jump... I wonder if that would actually work kek.

This week's chapter... A lot of frontloaded content from the first chapter. But honestly, considering the last arc kinda got wrapped up in a hurry compared to its size, so I wanted to organize myself by showing the stories of many perspectives before starting. As a result it got big, but some of that will be continued on in coming arcs, so I hope you enjoy them ^^.

I'm uploading again. This time around, I can feel that I am looking at my work from a wider angle. I hope you join me on a new journey with a more relaxed and light heart. Letting go of what was on our shoulders for a few years would help us start a new. Don't take yourself too seriously and let's go. Haha. I was thinking about stopping the Afterwords (T/N: SIU no) But it's been around so long, and I have good memories of here, so I decided to keep it keke.
In the last shot we have Longer-haired Baam. I think we'll keep it here for a bit. Of course if you guys don't like it we'll cut it off hahaha.
