Grace Mirchea Luslec (그레이스 미르치아 루슬렉, Geuraeiseu Mireuchia Luseulaek) is Slayer No. 1 and the living "god" of the most dangerous and secretive criminal group, FUG, in the Tower.[1]
Although FUG’s true motives and goals are not clearly known, it is true without a doubt that they exist in the shadows of the Tower, hiding and corrupting. People call Luslec the "God of the Devils" (악마들의 신, Ahkmahdeuleui Shin) or "Demon King" (마왕, Mahwahng; 魔王).[1]
Even though the FUG has a dangerous status, the influence of Luslec's group can never surpass the Family Heads of the 10 Great Families, as long as they hold contracts with the Tower's Administrators.[1] Nevertheless, Luslec holds a rank that surpasses a few of the Family Heads. This is because he represents the "Absolute Darkness" of the Tower.[1]
History[]
Luslec was one of those that helped the 10 Great Warriors climb the Tower.[1] Garam Zahard stated that he was a warlord serving under the irregular 'V' who was part of Zahard's original 12 companions.[4] No one knows how or why he fell and became the leader of a such a dangerous group; although the author hints that it has something to do with how Zahard became king and the forgotten civil war his master fought against Zahard and the 10 Great Warriors.[5]
As revealed, in the distant past, right after V and Arlen Grace broke away from Zahard and the 10 Family Heads, Luslec was sent by Arlene and V’s faction to retrieve Amizu when she made her intention to join their side and complete their adventure up the Tower known to their former companions. Luslec would then infiltrate Traumerei’s Floating Palace, where after a short scuffle with Arie Hon, was given leave to pick Amizu up. However, before getting to their designated meeting place, Luslec would be knocked out by Traumerei, who then ordered Enkidu to shapeshift into him (after forbidding him from possessing Luslec) to then bring Amizu to him to a floating island to talk to her.
In Part II, it is revealed that Twenty-Fifth Baam had joined FUG and adopted his family name, becoming Jyu Viole Grace.

The Nest (Arc)[]
After the failure of Khel Hellam to try to stop the war with the Canine People to defend the Wall of Peaceful Coexistence, as the war heroes were freed and the Canine People suffered a great loss, Sophia Tan stated that regardless of what Luslec may think, he is unable to act directly yet as it would cause the Family Heads to act as well, resulting in a massive war that would be beyond Jyu Viole Grace's power to intervene in and revealed Luslec wants Baam to grow from these challenges. Hwa Ryun later stated that though Luslec will not be able to participate directly, he will ask the Elders if they want to save Ha Jinsung if Baam knows where he is. Hwa Ryun is later on seen contacting Luslec regarding Baam fighting a Ranker to influence the public so that the Elders of FUG will side with him and assured him that the battle will be a victory.
Grace[]
Luslec responds to Ha Jinsung's summon as he wishes to witness the death of a Great Family Head in the arena. Butterfly announces the arrival of both Jinsung and Khel Hellam.[6]
Lo Po Bia's Split[]
Reuniting with Jinsung and Khel Hellam after a long time, Luslec admits he could not resist the opportunity of seeing a family fall. He invites his visitors to share a drink with him which they refuse, which he thinks is a shame.[7]
Heading For The Arena[]
On their own way to the arena, Luslec and his ship decide to pierce through the Po Bidau's 3rd Fleet in order to facilitates Baam's journey to the arena, with Luslec himself ordering Garnak to do so.[8] As Po Bidau Varane is defeated, he questions Garnak's origin, and Luslec responds in unison that they come from the darkness. As they continue onwards they run into a Wolhaiksong ship, with Luslec admitting he is surprised to seem them take action here.[9] As Butterfly approaches the ship, a voice responds from the inside, with Luslec immediately recognizing Urek Mazino's voice.[10]

Powers and Abilities[]
Apparent by his ranking in 15th place as a High Ranker, Luslec is an incredible warrior, even surpassing some of the Family Heads in rank. His prowess with his great black Hook is said to be able to pierce anything.[1]
During his confrontation against Urek Mazino when Wolhaiksong began getting involved in the Lo Po Bia Family/Po Bidau Family war, Luslec showcased his immense power against Mazino, capable of putting up a challenge against the Top 4th Ranker in the Tower when he was still holding himself back considerably, which was still an impressive feat, considering that he pushed Mazino to ultimately take him somewhat seriously and managed to escape from him, while claiming he could come up with a number of ways to "win" a fight with Urek.[10] [11] In the past, Luslec had showcased to be confident enough in his skills and power to infiltrate a private floating palace of one of the Great Family Heads, even when many of them were gathered together at the same time.
Spells[]
Luslec notably showcased multiple unusual Spells, and showed that each one was powerful enough to contend against Urek.
- Dark Charge: A transformation-like spell that allows Luslec to gain a stronger form. As shown, this transformation starts with Luslec forming a bright ball of light in his palms, then clapping down his hands to trigger his transformation, causing a gigantic, raging cascade of Shinsu waves to envelop himself and ravage his surroundings. This transformation causes Luslec to be enveloped in a robe of darkness-shadow and drastically enhances his combat abilities.
- Light Charge: A spell where Luslec activates by gathering white, glass fragment like shards into his palms. By clapping his hands, Luslec then unleashes a flash of bright white light that envelopes his opponent. As explained by Luslec, this technique is derived from his Dark Charge, where by forcibly deactivating it, he creates a temporary blank space, a separate dimensional space, of which he can then temporarily imprison his opponent in.[12]
- Flower Spells: Luslec has been shown to primarily use powerful spells that physically manifest as exotic flowers that produce a number of effects.
- Unnamed Spell 1: A spell where Luslec claps his hands together to conjure a small flower bud, which then grows into a huge red plant that then unleashes a volley of red blast attacks. [13]
- Unnamed Spell 2: Another spell where Luslec conjures a flower bud in his hands which then unleashes a huge blast of green energy. The second effect of this spell then conjures numerous green buds that then fire multiple blasts of green energy. [14]
- Water Arum - Unleashed: A spell where Luslec conjures a water arum flower, which then unleashes a barrage of seeds at his opponent. [15]
- Unleash - Plumed Thistle: A spell where Luslec conjures a plumed thistle, that then rapidley grows all across the field where Luslec is standing in. The full effect of this spell was not initially seen as Urek destroyed it before its attack could be released. [16]
- Infinite Vengeance - Goblin Thistle: Laster Luslec would explain that Plumed Thistle is a spell with a trap function. As explained that if this spell is destroyed by his opponent, the scattered spores of the plant begins taking over the surrounding shinsu of the area. Once conquered, the spores then unleashes a flurry of bladed attacks using thin leaves that vindictively pulverizes the one who originally destroyed the original plant. As shown, this spell is powerful enough to injure Urek, the Fourth ranked Ranker in the Tower. With the latter commenting it was the first time in a long while did he experience pain of any kind, further highlighting the spell’s power. [17]
- Unleash - Ghost Orchid: A spell where Luslec conjures a giant, orchid flower with a human face. Luslec brought it out to fight against Urek, but the latter managed to tear it apart before the spell’s full powers and effects could be revealed. But Luslec has stated that it is supposedly a super powerful spell and a finishing move of his. [18]
Physical[]
Aside from his spells, Luslec has also showcased immense physical strength, reflexes, and speed, along with being immensely skilled in hand-to-hand combat enough to fight off Urek Mazino, being able to initially push Urek back and land a few hits, and even defend himself against Urek once he began to fight Luslec, blocking Urek's aggressive barrage of attacks without taking another hit in.
In the past, he also demonstrated excellent knife-fighting skills, capable of briefly clashing with Arie Hon using a purple-dagger. Luslec possessed enormous physical durability, having been able to shrug off a powerful kick from Urek using 15% of his strength without any injuries and even quickly recover from being tossed through the grounds of Traumerei's home ship by Arie Hon.
- Piercing Technique: Much like Twenty-Fifth Baam and Ha Jinsung, Luslec also uses the Piercing Technique martial arts and was notably able to use it to push Urek back.[11]
Items[]
Weapons[]
Luslec is known to possess a great black Hook that is said to be able to pierce anything.[1]
- Daggers:In the distant past, Luslec was shown to previously favor fighting using knifes and daggers. Having brought one out during his brief fight against Arie Hon.
- Arms Inventory: In the past, Luslec was shown to own a miniture, customized inventory for combat knives and daggers. [19]
Relationships[]
- Ha Jinsung: Mirchea seems to be quite close to Jinsung, as they are among the few in the higher-ups of FUG who support Baam as a Slayer Candidate, working together to ensure that the other elements of FUG don't have their way with him. This is shown by how Jinsung could confidently promise Luslec would accept his good word of Viole's team remaining a team, which Luslec clearly accepted. Although he could not directly save Jinsung, Luslec was willing to hold a meeting with the Elders and Slayers to ask if they want to help save him.
- Twenty-Fifth Baam: Baam is the son of his masters lover, Arlen. Luslec has Baam adopt his family name and turns him into the Slayer Candidate Jyu Viole Grace. Luslec appears to be the only one apart from Jinsung in the higher-ups of FUG to believe in him and care for him: Luslec supports Jinsung giving Baam freedom, allowing Jinsung to use his authority along with Jinsung's own to ensure the other elements of FUG doesn't have their way with him. Jinsung noted on how Luslec was perplexed with how members of FUG tried to kill Baam, which was noted to put him in a complex situation, indicating he had went out of his way to protect Baam's status despite the difficulties. Sophia Tan also noted how Luslec would not act directly until Baam has grown strong enough as it would attract the Family Heads and begin an all-out war and that Luslec hopes that Baam will grow from facing his challenges. Regardless, Luslec offers his support indirectly to Baam by hosting a meeting with the Elders and Slayers to ask if they want to help Baam save Jinsung. However, this was later revealed to be due to his knowledge that his master, V, was somehow in Baam's body.
- Hwa Ryun: Mirchea and Hwa Ryun seems to have a personal relationship, as Hwa Ryun respectfully refers to Mirchea as Lord Mirchea and he seems to trust her capabilities, apparently entrusting her with keeping an eye on Baam and reporting to him directly regarding Baam, as shown by how she tells him about Baam fighting Test Ranker Pan to make the hard-liner Elders and Slayers, especially Sophia, consider helping him and Luslec likewise trusted her to ensure the success of Baam's battle to rescue Jinsung from the Nest.[20]
