After telling the kids he will not miss them over a long weekend, Chef locks himself into the school and finds out he was very, very wrong.
Plot[]
The episode begins with the children cleaning up the daycare with Chef telling them to hurry up because he wants them gone by pickup time. Izzy then tells Chef she finished washing his car only for it to be covered in paint because she didn't want to clean it with "boring old water". Izzy then notices a new security system which freaks her out thinking it's an evil robot. Chef tries to tell her it's not a robot but she is already telling the others about the robot. The children are already worried about the robot taking over the world.
Chef tells him that it's just a new security system and that it's not important.Beth disagrees saying that they were talking a lot about it and Sugar thinks she'd be surprised as a cat laying an egg if it didn't play an important part in the episode.
Chef says he just wants to enjoy his long weekend without the kids and proceeds to dance and sing a song to some music about how he will enjoy the weekend. Cody turns off the music and asks if Chef would miss them. Chef then puts Cody against a comedian stage and asks him to say it again and laughs when he does. The children keep asking if they will be missed until the bell rings and Chef tosses them out to their parents. Duncan says that Chef will cry about them being gone and that he's calling it and Cody hands Chef a drawing of all the kids for when he misses them which Chef throws away in the trash.
Chef then goes to grab his briefcase and almost leaves until he decides to go back to grab the drawing from the trash so he can rip it up as he drives. But he has forgotten the password for the door and MacArthur can't change the password without the system password. She goes on vacation and won't get back until Monday.
After he begins to cry and attempt to open the door, Chef decides he can still have a vacation as the children aren't there. He plays with a toy bulldozer until he crashes into the egg chair , drinks a disgusting smoothie and plays go fish with a stuffed giraffe. He fights with Gerald the giraffe after realizing he did have a 7. After trying to relax, he realizes that it has only been 5 minutes since pick up time and decides to do arts and crafts to pass the time after having some hallucinations.
He ends up making dolls of the children and hallucinates them start causing trouble such as Izzy covering the walls in paint and Beth cutting Gerald's head off. He decides to tell MacArthur that he is in danger to get her to open the door early only to find his phone smashed by Sugar. Izzy tells Chef that Duncan is causing trouble in his office. Chef discovers that Duncan filled the room with Dynamite. Cody then convinces Chef to crawl into the vents to escape. The vents collapse and he falls onto the floor asking what happened.
The episode ends with the children telling him that the weekend is over. MacArthur tells him that he was alone for 3 days and that isolation always ends with people making homemade dolls. She also informs him that the password was Chef and he cries over hearing it. Duncan then happily states that he called it.
