Moriah Gaynor is a contestant from Survivor 46.
After being blindsided at Siga's only Tribal Council, Moriah was left on the outs of her tribe heading into the Earn the Merge challenge, and her situation worsened after she lost the challenge and her name was put up for elimination. Ultimately, with no solid allies, Moriah was dispensed as an easy target and voted out on Day 13.

Name three of your favorite hobbies: Beer brewing, surfing, Dungeons & Dragons.
List three adjectives that best describe yourself: Driven, quirky, sentimental.
How would your friends describe you? My friends would describe me as a "go-getter" even if it's not always apparent. I'm always the person to organize the trip, plan the party, or really make an event happen. My catchphrase is basically, "So I went ahead and made a GSheet for this…" At the same time, they'd describe me as very personable and fiercely loyal. I will do anything to help those I care about – whether that be showing up with wine and a sympathetic ear after a long day or stepping in myself.
What risks have you taken in your life to make a change for the better, even if the outcome wasn't planned? One of the largest risks I took was moving to California. When I moved here I had a trunk full of clothes, a studio apt, and a part-time job. I had no idea if my relationship would succeed, if I would find meaningful employment, or if I'd make friends. But I knew I had hit an end in Wisconsin and there was nothing left for me there. So I figured screw it, why not.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? I'm most proud of completing my marathon. My freshman year of college I started running to try for a half, then it grew to a full. I'm not just proud of the product of completing the marathon, but the grit and determination it took to get there – 6 days of running for 4 months straight in NYC is no joke! I felt like I spent my salary that year on energy gels and socks.
What is something we would never know from looking at you? You would never know how much I second-guess myself.
What past Survivor would you play the game most like? Nick Wilson[1]
Survivor[]
As one of three women on the green Siga tribe, Moriah's early strategy revolved around building a women's alliance by partnering with Jem Hussain-Adams and Maria Shrime Gonzalez; the trio roped in Charlie Davis, whom they deemed the most trustworthy of the male tribe members, to form the "Charlie's Angels" alliance. Unbeknownst to Moriah and Jem, Charlie and Maria had built a closer working relationship with each other and intended to play both sides between the women's alliance and the pair of Ben Katzman and Tim Spicer.
Due to Siga's extensive winning streak, these allegiances went untested until Day 11, when the tribe finally lost their first Immunity Challenge. Prior to Tribal Council, Jem had begun to rustle feathers due to her less-than-transparent conduct, which irked Tim and Ben and prompted them to target her for the vote. Meanwhile, Jem and Moriah believed they had the numbers to vote out Ben. Ultimately, at Siga's only Tribal Council, Charlie and Maria decided that they had a more promising future with Tim and Ben and sided with them to blindside Jem. The vote left Moriah in a state of shock as she realized that she was the only person not in the tribe's majority. Despite this, her tribemates tried to assure her that the tribe could still move ahead as a solid unit, though they secretly agreed that she was the lowest person on the tribe hierarchy.
After the individual phase commenced, Moriah continued to be an easy target. When her team lost the Earn the Merge challenge, she was put up by the winning team as a possible option for elimination during their merge feast; when the Sigas expressed hesitation towards sharing their tribe dynamics, Moriah's target grew as the other players saw her tribe to be tighter than the openly dysfunctional Nami tribe. Although Venus Vafa tried to shift the target to Moriah's tribemate Charlie Davis during the afternoon scramble, she lacked the social capital to convince the tribe to change plans. At Tribal Council, Moriah made a desperate plea to save herself by revealing information about Siga's dynamics; this backfired and lost her her former tribe members' support. Seeing the writing on the wall, she played her Shot in the Dark, which failed, leading to her being voted out 10-1.
