Synopsis[]
The episode opens with Jasmine announcing her second date with Ryan to Emma. She mentions how they missed their movie so they made plans for the next Saturdya before asking how Emma’s relationship with Ryan is going. Emma responds that it’s okay after thinking about a series of awkward dates. Jasmine proposes if things work out between her and Ryan, they should go on a double date. Jasmine orders rice cakes as Emma thinks about how weird that would be.
Jamie and his friends are discussing Kat’s lecture at school the next day. One of Jamie’s friends point out that she’s oddly captivating even though she’s not in amazing shape and isn’t very pretty. Girls nearby wonder if the boys are having a porn evaluation session as they quickly say it’s just an online lectures. Jamie tries to wake up his friend, Hunter Kwon for tutoring, since Hunter had fallen asleep at his desk. When Hunter tells Jamie to go away, Jamie threatens to call Hunter’s parents which causes him to quickly wake up. As the boys are walking, they stop for rice cakes when they see Jasmine and Emma. Jamie pulls Hunter away quickly and when Hunter asks if Jamie knows the, he says it’s just his sister who he’d rather not see outside of home. Hunter asks if she’s single, which earns him a scolding from Jamie for attempting to flirt with his sister.
Hailey seems significantly surprised that Ryan has scored another date, stating that he must have zero damns left to give. Ryan argues that she’s the one who told him to go and date girls, and while Haikey agreed she thinks about how stubborn he usually is. She shrugs it off and offers him a love potion, saying that it was originally a request from ‘Hanny’ but she’ll brew another since her little brother’s love life is more important. When Ryan asks what he’s supposed to do with it, Hailey responds that he feeds it to Emma on her birthday. Ryan slaps himself in the face, causing him to bleed which confuses Hailey.
As Emma and Victor go to coffee before the movie, Emma asks if Victor is free on Thursday. When Victor responds he has family stuff that day, Emma seems disappointed as she rushes them out of the shop for their movie. Later, Emma calls Jasmine, obviously very upset. Jasmine told her she should have told him to miss whatever he had that day and Emm responds that she’s not surprised he had plans since it was a weekday. Jasmine asks if Emma would like to hang out with her and Ryan instead and Emma says that Ryan’s probably busy on that day.
Jamie is freaking out about all the homework they have due on Thursday and when Hunter is laughing, Jamie asks if all the homework has finally driven him mad. Hunter says he has a permission slip to miss school on Thursday, which makes him happy but Jamie teases him saying it’s the time of month for his menstruel leave.
Ryan asks when Johan is coming and Hailey responds that she doesn’t know and he’s always wanderimg around somewhere, but she’s sure he’ll be there on Thursday since he always keeps his promises. She also asis that isn’t Emma’s birthday on Thursday. When Ryan responds that it is, Hailey says she doesn’t need to worry anymore since Emma has a boyfriend.
