Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Emma lying awake, texting Ryan. She asks him if he'd want to go on a blind date as she wonders what it could mean for her relationship with both Ryan and Jasmine if they end up going out. She decides that she'd ask them to buy her food, ultimately, giggling as she waits for Ryan's response.
Ryan is in his room, with his leg poorly wrapped and still injured from his fall. Hailey explains that first-aid isn't her specialty and that she should just ask dad later. Ryan impatiently unwraps his leg, chastising himself on how dumb it was to ask Hailey to help. He sees Emma's text, confused on what she means by 'blind date.' Hailey sees it and seems as if she wants Ryan to go, but he quickly turns him down.
Emma is still wide awake when she gets Ryan's response, which is simply 'Get lost,'
Hailey, (though slightly disappointed Ryan didn't accept the date) tells Ryan that if she wouldn't go for a human than she should look for someone of 'our kind.' She then says how he should be embarrassed he hasn't dated anybody yet. Then Ryan (being the sassy boi he is) responds he'd rather remain single then be getting dumped every three months like her. Hailey proceeds to once again, chase Ryan with a large heavy object.
Emma breaks the news to Jasmine about how Ryan turned down the date. She seems upset, as she mentions that she gave her guy Emma's number. Emma doesn't seem to remember exactly what she means until Jasmine points it out. Jasmine then goes on to mention how the guy is from their seminar the year before. She mentions that both is looks and personality are great and that he is two years older than them. She also mentions that he seems to be interested in her, as when she mentioned that it was Emma she was setting him up with, he was hooked. Emma begins to get nervous since she had never been on a blind date before. Jasmine says that he should probably text Emma sometime that day as Emma's phone dings, showing he has texted her. The text reads:
'Hello, Miss Ji? I am Victor Kwon. Has Jasmine told you about me? I'd like to meet you sometime this week if that's alright.'
Emma tells Jasmine how Victor wants to meet her later that week and she manages to persuade Emma to eventually say yes.
Victor receives Emma's text, which reads:
'Ah, hello! This is Emma. I think I'll be free on this Saturday.'
V: 'Can we meet at Daehagno at 2pm on Saturday then?'
E: 'Sure, I'll see you then!'
A quick moment at Ryan's house show's him seemingly in pain. Hailey asks what's wrong and if it's his injury. Ryan says that it's not his injury and that he had a terrible feeling for some reason.
Two hours before Emma's date, she is trying to find what to wear and she realizes that she has absolutely nothing to wear on this date. Ryan overhears and Emma explains the situation to him and she asks if she could borrow clothes from Hailey. Though he's shocked Emma is going on a blind date, he brings Hailey over who picks out a cute outfit for Emma. Before Hailey can do Emma's makeup, Ryan quickly decides she needs to dress differently. He gives her fashion advice (like werewolves do) and Emma leaves, happy with how she looks. Hailey tells Ryan he's great at helping his enemies as they watch her go. Emma arrives and is looking for Victor. When the two finally find each other, Emma realizes how good-looking he is.
Ryan is talking to Hailey (because for some reason he can't see what a mistake this is by now) and says that he doesn't care who Emma dates, he just worries she'll be taken advantage of. Ryan takes this and changes his wording, saying he's 'worried like how a dad would be.' He then asks Hailey to take out her crystal ball so he can see Emma's date. Hailey laughs this off, saying he's officially lost his mind.
At Emma's date, Victor mentions the same elective story as Jasmine did. He is curious why Emma doesn't seem to remember him at all. Emma responds with, 'there were so many people, I didn't even remember who I was sitting beside me, I was too busy sleeping.' Victor laughs and asks if the food's okay. A confused Emma says yes, even though she is clueless about whatever the heck she's eating.
